`Episode 1- I know that he's been on your mind

"God, I hate all men," sobbed Leia to her best friend Dana.
"It's ok. Rich didn't deserve you." Dana held Leia as she cried. Leia
had just found out that her boyfriend of two years, Rich, had cheated on her.
She was having the time of her life too in Orlando and now this had to
happen. Leia's older bro, Ashley Angel is in this new group called O-Town.
They're still living in their house, but the season of Making the Band has
ended so she didn't have to worry about any cameras. Dana McKnight has been
Leia's best friend since forever and when Leia decided to move to Orlando to
be closer to her brother, Dana decided to move with her.
"What's going on?" asked Ashley as he poked his head through the door.
"Nothing," said Dana. She knew Leia didn't want Ashley to know about
Rich.
"Leia, what's wrong?" Ashley knew his sister never cried unless
something was seriously wrong.
"Rich cheated on me!"
"What? I'm going to go and kick his ass."
"No, Ashley. He's in California. We're in Florida. I don't care. I'm
just hurt right now."
"Oh. Well, I just came up here to tell Dana that her mom was on the
phone. Sis, you sure you're going to be ok?"
"Yeah. I just want to be left alone for awhile."
"Ok."

Ashley closed the door and went downstairs. Jacob was sitting on a
couch watching TRL. Their video was number four.

"Jacob, why are you watching us?"
"Cuz I wanna see what crazy requests the fans send. Those crack me up
everytime man."
"Yeah, dude whatever you say." Ashley sighed as he sat beside Jacob.
Ashley couldn't help but worry about Leia. Jacob noticed his friend's distant
look. He waved a hand in front of his face.
"Earth to Ashley. This is Jacob, can you read me?"
"Huh? Oh yeah. What?"
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"Don't tell me nothing. You never just go off in space like that
during Britney man. What's wrong?"
"It's just that Leia found out Rich was cheating on her. She doesn't
even want to talk to me. She just wants to be alone."
"Awww. Poor thing. Well, Ashley, she just needs time to think. When I
broke up with Brooke (i really don't know his actual gfs name), I just
isolated myself to gather my thoughts and figure out how to move on. That's
what she's doing."
"Yeah but she usually talks to me. She's not even telling much to Dana
and she tells everything to her."
"Well, I'll go check on her later if that'll make you feel better."
"It will. Thanks, Jacob."
"No prob man. Oh yeah Christina. Damn she's hot." "No one wants to be
lonely" came on the tv.
"Britney's hotter."
"Yeah but Christina's real."
"Oh whatever. I don't care. Look at that bikini top. I wish that were
me on the beach with her."
"I'm sure Justin will appreciate that."
"I could beat Justin's butt anytime."
"I'll make sure I let him know that the next time we see him."

Episode 2- That Distant Look is in Your Eyes

Leia sat on her bed looking at a picture of Rich and her at their
Junior Homecoming. Why Rich?? I thought you said you loved me. If you loved
me, you wouldn't have done this. Leia wiped some more tears away. She
couldn't get herself to stop crying. She promised herself that she'd never
cry over a man and here she was doing it. Well, this will be the last time.
She thought to herself. She laid herself down on the bed. She just had to
find a way to get her mind off him. Leia's thoughts were interuppted by a
knock at the door.
"Who is it?" she called out as she wiped off some more tears.
"It's Jacob, can I come in?"
"Yeah." Leia wiped some more tears away as Jacob walked in.
He stood by the door. "Ashley told me what happened. I figured I could come
in here and try to cheer ya up."
"Yeah, well good luck." Leia sniffed. The minute her and Jacob met, they were
friends instantly. Leia would always tell Jacob everything, but right now she
really didn't feel like telling him anything.
"I'm real sorry. I know how you feel."
"No you don't."
"Yeah I do. Brooke cheated on me with someone I thought was my friend."
"Well you never told me this."
"Because I just found out who it was a week ago and I didn't know how to tell
you."
"Who was it?"
"Rich."
"WHAT!!!!!!" Leia yelled. Jacob jumped back from surprise. "You never told me
this, Jacob!!!!! You could have saved me from a lot of heartache you know
that?"
"Well I didn't know what to do, Leia. I'm sorry ok."
Leia immediately felt bad for saying that. "No, I'm sorry, Jacob. I'm just
trying to figure out what to do now and I didn't mean to yell at you like
that." Leia could feel more tears coming on. "It's just I loved him and I
still do love him. I thought he loved me too, but I guess not," she sobbed.
"I just wish I could have been everything he wanted, so then he didn't have
to go and cheat on me." Leia buried her face in her hands.
Jacob walked over to the bed and kneeled in front of Leia. "Leia, listen to
me, you were a great girlfriend to Rich. He'd brag about you all the time to
me and everybody else. He loved you a lot. Don't think that this is your
fault in anyway."
Leia looked up at him. "Why are you so nice to me?"
"Because I care about you and I don't like seeing you like this. Now, come
on, let's go find something to do."
Leia and Jacob walked out of her room.

Episode 3- I Think It's Time You Realized It's Over

Jacob and Leia had gone to the mall. Leia was looking at shirts in
Rave when flowers were shoved in her face.
"What the..." Leia turned around to see Jacob standing there with
flowers in his hands.
"For you." Jacob handed her the bouqet of roses.
"Oh, Jacob. How sweet of you," Leia exclaimed. Rich used to do this
for me all the time. I'm never going to get over him.
Jacob noticed Leia's quick change of expression. "I thought those
would cheer you up."
"Oh they did. I was just thinking about something."
"Him?" That was the only appropriate word Jacob had for Rich right
now. He was still ticked off at how he broke Leia's heart in two. He wished
Leia would get over Rich. Come on, Jacob. It hasn't even been a day yet.
She'll get over him in time. Jacob thought to himself.
"Yeah him. I didn't mean to make you think that the flowers didn't
cheer me up. Sorry bout that."
"Oh that's ok. So, where do you want to go next?"
"I think I just want to go home. I have to put these in water."
"Ok."
*Back home*
"Ashley Parker Angel," said Dana, "you better give me back that diary."
"Why?" Ashley held the small red leatherbound book.
"Because, I said so." Dana couldn't let Ashley read that book he held
open in his hands. "How'd you find the key, anyway?" She demanded.
"I didn't have a key. You left the diary open on your bed."
"Ashley, please give it back to me." Dana looked at Ashley with his
spiked blonde hair, perfect blue eyes, and very nice body. At least that's
what she thought, and what was written in her diary.
"Hey," said Leia as her and Jacob came into the kitchen. Ashley turned
to wave and Dana took that oppurtunity to grab the diary from him.
"Hey! No fair," Ashley pouted.
"You shouldn't have had it in the first place," chastised Dana. "I'm
going to have to be more careful where I lay this." Ashley could have read
that and seen how much I like him. Thank God for Leia walking in. She's such
a lifesaver.
"Where did you get those?" asked Ashley as he pointed at the roses
Leia held.
"Oh these? Jacob bought them for me. What a sweetheart, huh?"
"What a sweetheart." Ashley mocked in a mother's voice as he pinched
Jacob's cheek. At that moment, Dan came walking in with Cindy.
"Whoa, maybe we should just leave you guys alone," Dan said.
"Oh ha ha ha. Very funny, Dan," said Ashley as he let go of Jacob.
Jacob rubbed his cheek.
"Hey, Cindy," said Leia as she hugged her. "I didn't know you were
coming in today."
"Yeah, well, it's Spring Break for us now, so I decided to come and
visit my baby."
"Speaking of which. Isn't Rich on spring break now?" asked Dan. He
didn't know about Rich cheating on Leia. Ashley elbowed Dan in the stomach.
"Oww. What was that for?"
Leia ran out of the kitchen and into her room. Rich would be here if
he didn't cheat on me.
"Way to go, Dan," said Jacob as he went to follow Leia.
"What did I say?"
"Rich cheated on Leia. They've broken up," said Dana as she followed
Jacob.
"Man, I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"Of course, you didn't," said Ashley. "I meant to tell you before you
left to go get Cindy, but I didn't want to ruin your good mood."
"Oh, well I just ruined Leia's."
"No, she just needs time to get over him."

Episode 4- It's Over

Leia ran to her room and slammed the door shut. She threw herself onto
her bed and began to sob heavily. She heard Jacob and Dana knocking on the
door.
"Leia, come on talk to us," they pleaded when they discovered the door
was locked.
"Go away!!!!"
"Leia, please," Jacob said as he tried to persuede her to open the
door. When he discovered she wouldn't let them in he cursed. "Damn it! I
swear the next time I see Rich, his ass best run for cover. Why the hell did
he cheat on her with Brooke? That's such bullsh.."
"Jacob, please!" Dana said before Jacob before he could finish his
sentence. "Let her cool off. She'll get over him eventually."
"Yeah well eventually isn't soon enough. It breaks my heart to see her
like this."
"Don't you think it hurts me too? She's my best friend also you know."
"Yeah, but not the way it hurts me." With that, Jacob walked away from
the door and went into his room. Dana was left there wondering what he had
meant.
What was that supposed to mean? Oh my God! What if Jacob likes Leia?
Dana thought to herself, but then quickly dismissed the idea. What the hell
am I thinking? Leia is 18 and Jacob is 21!!! No way!!! He goes for those
older women. "Maybe he's just feeling really sorry for Leia that's all," Dana
said to herself. Dana decided she'd leave Leia alone till she was ready to
talk. Dana walked downstairs and joined Ashley on the couch and watched some
tv.
Jacob slammed the door to his room. He sat down on his bed and thought
about Leia. He just couldn't get his mind off her lately. There was a knock
on the door.
"Come in."
Leia peeked her head in the door. Jacob motioned for her to come sit
by him on his bed. He looked at her and could tell that she had just got done
crying. Her usual beautiful green eyes were bloodshot and swollen from
rubbing them too much. Plus her long light brown hair was a mess.
"You feeling any better?" Jacob asked as she laid her head on his
shoulder.
"Not really. Look, I didn't mean to just shut you guys out like that,
but I'm just getting sick and tired of always having people seeing me cry.
And I hate this...this...crying. I've never cried this much over anything."
"Leia, it's ok. I understand. I cried alot over Brooke. I just didn't
let you guys see me."
"Well from now on we'll cry in front of each other and that's it.
Deal?"
"Deal."
Leia looked at Jacob. She still remembered how much of a Justin
Timberlake poser he looked like when they first met. But that was just so he
could get in the group. Now he got rid of his curly locks and grew out some
dreds and a goatee and painted his nails black. The dreds somehow made his
eyes stand out more. Leia loved his eyes. Jacob had laid down with his hands
behind his head. Leia did the same but put her head on his chest and closed
her eyes. Jacob started to say something to Leia but he realized she had fell
asleep. He put an arm over her and he soon too fell asleep.

Episode 5- It's Not The Way I Choose To Live

Ashley and Dana were watching some TV when Dan and Cindy came into the
living room.
"Hey you guys, me and Cindy were wondering if you two wanted to come
with us to the movies tonight," Dan said. Ashley looked at him.
"Sure sounds cool. Wanna go, Dana?"
Dana didn't even hesitate. "Yeah. That'd be fun. What are we going to
go see?"
"I was thinking "A Knight's Tale"," said Cindy. "But Mr. Dan here
doesn't want to go see it cuz he knows I have a thing for Heath Ledger."
Dana laughed. "That'd be Dan alright. How about "The Mummy Returns"?"
"Yeah," said Dan and Ashley.
"Well the next showing for the movie is at 7 and it's like half an
hour till then so we better start getting ready," said Cindy.
"I'll go ask Jacob and Leia if they wanna go," said Dan as he bounded
up the stairs.

Ashley decided to go find Trevor and Erik and ask them. Dan went up to
Leia's room and knocked, but no one answered. He peeked in; he didn't see
anyone in there. She's probably in Jacob's room. Dan thought as he started
towards there. He opened the door and found Leia laying on the bed beside
Jacob with her head on his chest and Jocob's arm around her. OMG! What the
hell is went on in here? Or need I ask. Dan thought. He was about to go in
there when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to discover he was
face-to-face with Ashley.

"So are they going?" Ashley asked.
Dan just looked back in the room then back to Ashley.
"What is it?" Ashley looked behind Dan's shoulder to see his little
sister and his best friend in the same bed together. "LEIA HEAVEN ANGEL WHAT
THE HELL IS THIS!!!"
Leia and Jacob awakened at the sound of Ashley's yell. Immeiately Leia
began to explain herself before Ashley killed Jacob. "Ashley, it's not like
anything happened. I just came in here and I was tired and I fell asleep and
so did Jacob. Besides I'm 18 and that's old enough to make my decisions
anyways."
"That's besides the point. Why the hell were you in his room anyways?"
"Why the hell shouldn't I be in his room? It's not like he just lured
me in here and raped me. Jeez, Ashley, chill."
"Don't talk to me like that. I come in here to see my little sister in
my best friend's bed and it just happens that her boyfriend just broke up
with her!"
"You know what Ashley? You can just go to hell if you think I'm that
weak to just immediately go sleep with someone because of my breakup. Just
mind your own damn business from now on!" With that, Leia jumped off Jacob's
bed and ran past Ashley to only go back to her room.
Finally Jacob got to put his word in. "Look at what you did, Ashley!
She finally was just beginning to actually let me know how she's taking the
breakup and here you go accusing her of sleeping with me. That's bullshit
man. Complete and utter bullshit. Not only does that insult Leia, but that
insults me. How can you possibly think I'd take advantage of your sister when
she is upset like this? Just get the hell out of my room and stay the hell
out of my life!"
With that, Jacob pushed Ashley and Dan out the door and slammed it
shut and locked it.
"Damn," said Ashley. "I've just been told to stay out of someone's
life twice in one day. That's a record."
"Well you did overreact a bit," timidly said Dan. He didn't want to
piss him off again.
"I know, It's just that...imagine you go into a room to discover your
sister and your best friend in the same bed ya know? That's just a weakness
of mine. I never stop and think before I react."
"I guess that's a no to the movies then huh?" Dan chuckled.
"Yeah. Oh well, Erik and Trevor said they were about to go out to some
club so if we wanted to join them later we could."
"That sounds cool."
Even after Ashley and them left, Leia remained in her room. It hurt
her to think that her brother couldn't trust her. She decided that she just
wouldn't talk to anyone for awhile since everyone thinks she's some delicate
flower that will wilt with one mention of Rich. She had heard everyword of
the argument between Ashley and Jacob. She felt bad because she knew she was
the reason for it. It takes a lot to get Ashley angry and it takes even more
to get him to get into a major arguement with one of the bandmates.
Meanwhile, at the movies, Dana and Ashley were flirting majorly. Cindy
and Dan took notice to this. Dan suggested to try and hook them up. Cindy
agreed with him. After the movie, everyone went to the club that Erik and
Trevor said they'd be at. Dana really didn't want to dance, but urged Ashley
to go on and find another dancing partner. Dana watched as Ashley just picked
some girl from the bar and they began to dance to "All For You" by Janet
Jackson. Dana was a bit jealous, but she had her chance to dance with Ashley.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a tap on her shoulder. She looked up to see
a guy with brown hair that was spiked with blue, he was around Ashley's
height, and had blue eyes.
"Hey baby do you wanna dance?"
"No thank you."
"Awwwww come on."
"I'm sorry, I'm just tired."
"Well, here," the guy shoved a cup of liquid into Dana's face, "drink
this. You'll be wanting to dance before ya know it."
"I said no and I mean no. Please just go away."
"Well I don't take no for an answer. Besides I know you wanna dance."
The guy started to pull on Dana's arm. Dana frantically looked around
to find someone to help her. Before the guy came, everyone was in perfect
sight of her, now she couldn't find anyone! Dana tried with all her might to
fight the guy off, but he was too strong. He had managed to pull Dana out of
her seat and was now trying to pull her toward the exit. Dana hit him with
her fists, but she might as well have been trying to knock him out with a
feather.
"What's your name?" Ashley asked the blonde he was dancing with. She
was responding when he saw Dana being tugged along by some guy. At first,
Ashley thought they were going to the bar, but he realized the guy was
pulling her towards the door and Dana was trying to get away from him.
"Excuse me," Ashley told the girl as he walked quickly towards Dana.
"I said let me go!" Dana yelled. Either the music was too loud for him
to hear her or he was just ignoring her. Dana was about to start crying when
she saw Ashley coming towards them. She began to feel relieved. Ashley tapped
the guy on his shoulder.
"Excuse me sir, but I don't think the lady wants to go with you."
Ashley said curtly.
"Why don't you shut up? She's just playing hard to get."
Ashley looked at Dana who frantically shook her head. "I suggest you
let her go."
"What will you do if I don't?" taunted the guy. He kept a firm grip on
Dana's arm.
"I don't think you'd like to know."
"Oh really? Are you going to do this?" The guy punched Ashley in his
stomach. Dana screamed as she saw Ashley keel over. "That's what you get when
you mess with Billy Johns." Billy pulled Dana with him as he ran out the
door. Dana tried going the other way, but Billy kept his grip on her.
"Ashley!" Dana screamed. "You bastard! Let me go!"
"Shut up!" Billy threw Dana against a wall and slapped her face.
"You son of a bitch!" a voice yelled. Suddenly, Billy was thrown to
the ground. Dana saw Ashley's familiar build beating Billy up. "When I say
let go, you let go! How dare you hit a woman anyway?"
Dana just stood in shock as Billy ran off. She saw Ashley run towards
her and heard him ask her if she was okay. Dana couldn't manage the words out
of her mouth. Ashley just looked at Dana. For some reason he took more notice
of those chocolate brown eyes, her long brunette hair, and the body that any
girl at 18 would love to have. He shook himself out of his trance.
"Dana, I said are you okay?"
Dana numbly nodded her head. Ashley noticed a red mark beginning to
swell on her cheek.
"Come on. Erik and them are pulling the car out front. Dan saw me go
down and I quickly told him what had happened and for him to get everyone out
of there and into the car. I'm so sorry, Dana."
"It's not your fault," Dana finally said.
"I can't believe he hit you. The nerve of him."
"It's allright , Ashley. Just drop it." Dana saw that Erik had pulled
the car up in front of him. She sat in the backseat with Dan and Cindy as
Ashley sat up front with Trevor and Erik.
A couple weeks passed since the whole incindent. Ever since then, Dana
rarely talked to Ashley. She only talked to Leia; that was only when Leia
would let anyone in her room. Leia felt responsible for the fight and
everything. She didn't talk to anyone period. Even when Dana talked to her
she'd just say a few things then go back to her rooom. Jacob noticed this and
began to worry about Leia. She basically locked herself in her room. One day
when everyone had gone out, Jacob decided he'd go try to actually have a
conversation with Leia. He knocked on her bedroom door.
"What?" came a quiet voice from behind the door.
Jacob barely recognized Leia's voice. "It's Jacob. We need to talk."
"No we don't. Now go away."
Jacob ignored Leia's request and walked in her room. "Yes we do."
"Listen here, Jacob, I don't know who you think you are, but you do
not own this house. When I say go away, I mean it. Now just get out."
Ignoring the whole statement he asked, "What has been your problem
lately? You've locked everyone out. Cindy, Dana, Ashley, and especially me
are concerned about you. I mean you spend everyday in here and even eat in
here; when you do eat. I'm worried about you."
"Well, stop worrying and get away from me."
"Leia," said Jacob. He was shocked to see her like this. She never
pushed anybody away from her like that. "What's gotten into you? I come in
here just wanting to talk and you're telling me to stop worrying. I can't
stop worrying. You've isolated yourself from the rest of the house. This
isn't "The Real World" so we can't kick you out, but this is "Making the
Band" and we will talk this out."
"Talk it out with yourself then because I'm getting out of here."
Leia stormed past Jacob. Jacob watched as she ran downstairs. He was
determined to find out was wrong with her. "LEIA!" Jacob yelled. Leia stopped
dead in her tracks. Never did Jacob yell at her. "You listen here and you
listen good. I will not stand by and watch you just push everyone away. I
understand you're hurting, but you're hurting yourself more by keeping
everything locked in. You don't even have to tell me, but tell Dana or Cindy.
You're scaring me, Leia. I don't want to watch my best friend torturing
herself. Until you see that what you are doing isn't healthy then just don't
expect me to ever talk to you again." Jacob stomped upstairs and into his
room.
Leia wiped a tear away as she went outside and slammed the door. She
had to have some time to herself to think about everything. Including her
friendship with Jacob.

Episode 6- But Something Somewhere Has Got to Give


Leia ran outside and found a spot beside the pool to sit down. The
minute she did, she began to cry. She cried over Rich, over Ashley, over
Jacob, and most of all over herself. Jacob was right. She has isolated
herself to the point where it just wasn't healthy anymore. She had begun to
practically starve herself. She couldn't help it. She just felt so useless
and now the one person she needed has turned his back on her. Jacob had every
right to do it too. She needed to straighten her act up. She was so deep in
her thoughts that she didn't hear Dan come outside. All he had to do was look
at her and she knew he had found out about her Jacob fighting.
"He's right you know?" That's all he had to say for her to completely
collapse into his arms and cry everything out. "It's ok, Leia. Everything
will turn out just fine. I mean it can only get better right?"
Leia just nodded. She couldn't speak at the moment. She knew she had to
go talk to Jacob. "How mad is he?"
"He's not really mad, Leia. He's just worried. He's even blaming himself
for stuff. I wouldn't go talk to him just yet though. I'd give him some time
to cooldown."
"True. I should know better than any of you guys what happens when Jacob
gets upset."
"He cares, Leia. I mean he really does care. Even though from what he
told me he made it sound like he didn't but that's why he said what he did.
He can't watch you do what you're doing to yourself. Even I've started
turning away. Jacob just decided to confront you about it."
"Thanks a lot, Dan. I don't know what I'd do without you."
"Cheer up, Leia. That's all I ask."
"Well, I can't until I apologize to Jacob and talk to him."
Later on that night, Erik ordered pizza for dinner and everybody came
downstairs to get a slice. Leia watched as Jacob got his pizza. He looked up
at her as if he had felt her eyes on him and she quickly looked away. She had
to make the perfect plan to talk to him alone. The next day, Leia was in her
room reading when there was a knock on the door. Leia hoped it was Jacob, but
her hopes shattered when she saw Ashley come in.
"Jacob isn't here, so you can go now," Leia snapped.
"I guess I deserved that. Look, I'm sorry if I hurt you that day."
"Well you did hurt me. Just to think that my brother can't trust me
around his best friend. How would you feel if I said I don't trust you around
Dana?"
"The same way you did when I yelled at you."
"Exactly. Ashley, me and Jacob are just friends. Nothing more and it
will never be more than just that. You can trust me."
Ashley walked over to Leia who was sitting on the bed and kneeled down
to hug her. "I just can't believe how much you've grown up." Leia laughed. "I
know it sounds corny. But Leia you have matured so much. I can't believe some
of the things you say sometimes. I still see you as my baby sister. You're a
beautiful girl and one day some guy will be smart to see that and that will
be the one who will be worth your tears. Not some idiot who cheats on you
with his supposed friend's girlfriend. Just remember that, Leia." Ashley let
go of the embrace and walked out the door.
Leia stared after her brother as he closed the door. Her and Ashley have
been so close. Leia remembers when Ashley first told her that he'd been
accepted to the group. She was so happy for him. Sadly though their father
wasn't. He thought Ashley was wasting his time. That was when Leia really
supported him, so he could see that someone believed in him. Leia decided to
stop putting off what had to be done. She had to go find Jacob.
Leia walked downstairs and heard yells. She looked into the living room
to find Dan and Erik playing some video game and Dana and Cindy cheering them
on. Leia laughed quietly to herself. She was in the kitchen when she heard a
guitar being played and someone faint lyrics being sung. She followed the
music until she found herself in the recording studio. She peeked in to see
Jacob sitting on a chair with his guitar in hand singing some song.

Leia stood in awe as she watched Jacob finish the rest of the song. She
couldn't help but clap at the end. Jacob had the best voice. Jacob turned
around to see her. It looked as if he was about to smile, but remembered he
was supposed to be mad at her and stopped himself. He turned back around and
started to put his guitar away.
"That was good. I really enjoyed it," Leia just wanted to break the
silence.
Jacob stopped a minute, hesitated, then went back to putting the guitar
away. Leia knew what he was doing. He was trying to ignore her.
"Jacob?" He didn't respond. "Just stop it. Please." She walked up to him
and put her hand on his back. His muscles tensed. Leia at that moment thought
he looked sort of sexy. He had on a black muscle shirt with a pair of blue
jeans on that were pulled just far down enough to see the label of his Polo
boxers. Damn, he looking good...whoa!! Where did this come from? I'm not
falling for him He's just a friend!!! Jacob pulled out of her touch. Leia
felt like crying now. "I guess I had that coming."
"You guessed right," he snapped. Leia began to cry silently as she
started to walk toward the door. Jacob heard her sniffle and immediately
regretted saying that. "Leia."
Leia kept walking. Jacob walked in front of her. She stopped when she
was about a few inches away from Jacob. She could smell his cologne, which
smelt very good to her. She looked up at him and Jacob's heart immediately
broke. Tears were running down her face. Before Jacob could stop himself he
brought his face down to hers and prepared to kiss her. Leia just stood
there. She couldn't decide what to do. She wanted him to kiss her, but she
remembered what Ashley had said. Well right now Ashley isn't here inhaling
the wonderful scent of Cool Water and in this moment. Leia tilted her face up
as Jacob's lips were so becoming closer to hers. She never would have
imagined this scene in her mind. Just as Jacob's lips touched hers, Trevor
came running through the music studio to announce Leia had a visitor.
"I'll be there in a minute." Leia looked back to see Jacob turn away and
mutter a profanity. Trevor looked at the two of them strangely, shrugged his
shoulders, and went off to deliver the message. "Jacob, what..."
"Just go see who it is. We'll talk later." Jacob sounded mad, but Leia
knew he was mad at whoever interuppted their moment and himself.
"Ok."
Leia ran to the living room to see who had come to see her. She just
about passed out when she saw who it was.

Episode 7- As Sharing This Relationship Gets Older

"Hi,Leia," said Rich as he walked to her and wrapped her in a hug. Leia
looked around to also see Brooke has joined them. Brooke gave Leia a dirty
look.
"Hi, Rich." Leia was still getting over the fact that her ex-boyfriend
was here and so was the girl he cheated on her with. "What are you doing
here?"
"Well, Mike wanted to see me and all the hotels around here are taken,
so he told me and Brooke that we could stay here."
"Let me get this straight. Mike gave you and her," Leia sent a glance
Brooke's way, "permission to stay in O TOWN'S HOUSE!! This is not Mike's
house to give out rooms to."
"That's right," said Jacob as he came behind Leia. Leia saw Brooke's
lips turn into a smile.
Oh don't you even think about it, Ms. Brooke. He is about to become
mine. You can keep Rich. thought Leia as she turned her attention back to
Rich.
"What would you do if we said we didn't want you two here?" said Jacob.
"Well, Jakey my boy," Leia saw Jacob cringe at the use of the old
nickname Rich would call him. "Mike knew that you probably wouldn't welcome
us with open arms, so he took the liberty of turning those soon to be trophy
rooms of yours to two guest rooms for me and Brooke."
"Why two? We know Brooke will either be in your room or following Jacob
around anyway," Cindy said. Cindy didn't like Brooke and she definately
didn't like Rich now that he is nothing but scum anyway.
Rich turned to face Cindy. Dan put a protective arm around her. "Well,
Cindy, it's so good to see you again. It's nice to see you haven't lost your
sense of humor. That was cute, but you should mind your own business. I mean,
I'm sure that even though you have a seperate room you spend most of your
time in Dan's anyway."
Leia gasped at the comment. She looked at Dan whose eyes now were
narrowed into two little slits. "Now you listen here, Rich, you will not talk
to my girlfriend like that. It's bad enough your brother thinks he owns this
house, but it's going to be worse if you keep running that mouth of yours
because I guarantee that there will be teeth missing from that smile if you
ever take that tone with her again."
Rich stepped closer to Dan. "Is that so?"
Dan stayed right where he was. He didn't flinch or back away. "Do I look
as if I'm lying?"
Cindy had put her hand on his arm in a weak attempt to refrain him from
doing something. Leia was ready to step between them if someone threw a
punch. Rich just stood there trying to intimidate Dan with his glare.
"Enough," said Trevor as he stepped beside Dan. "Rich, you and Brooke go
unpack. I'm not going to be having people fighting when I actually have a
couple weeks off for once."
Rich looked at Trevor; then, looked back at Dan and just rolled his
eyes. He took Brooke by the arm and guided her to their rooms. You could just
hear everyone sigh as Rich and Brooke walked off.
"Things couldn't get any worse," said Leia as she walked outside. She
slumped herself into a chair and just thought about the recent events. Jacob
had almost kissed her, Rich has come back, Brooke is here also, and now Rich
and Dan are going to be getting into a fight. Leia just knew they would
because Rich didn't back down from a challenge and Dan doesn't let anyone
talk down to anybody in that house. Leia felt someone tap her shoulder; she
looked to see Jacob sitting down next to her.
"Hey," he said quietly. "You ok?"
Leia just looked up at him and almost melted into a puddle of mush. His
eyes were just so blue and she just wanted to stare in them forever. "Yeah.
It's just that I can't believe Rich is going to stay here and with her. Then
there's just other things."
"Look, I'm sorry about earlier. I just didn't like seeing you upset
that's all."
"Don't apologize, Jacob. I was kind of looking forward to that kiss."
"Really?"
"Yeah." Leia scooted closer to him and started to tilt her head up for
him to kiss. She could feel Jacob shifting so he could kiss her. She felt
Jacob's lips on her and she brought her hands behind his neck. Leia couldn't
believe that this was actually happening. She had just told Ashley this
morning that her and Jacob were just friends and now here she was kissing
him.
Ashley was sitting in the living room talking to Erik about rehearsing
for the performance for TRL.
"Ashley," said Dan.
"What?"
"Where's the phone at? You had it last."
"Oh I don't know. I'll go look for it."
Ashley went out to the kitchen and was looking for the phone when he
looked out at the porch. He couldn't believe his eyes; there was Jacob and
Leia kissing. Only friends my ass. Why the hell did she lie to me? I bet
this is Jacob's doing. Leia would never lie to me. Ashley didn't realize that
Dana had come into the kitchen until he heard her gasp.
"You see them, too?" Ashley said after he turned around to see her
standing there with her mouth open.
"I knew he liked her. I just knew it."
"I can't believe Leia lied to me. 'Me and Jacob are just friends.
Nothing more.' Bull."
"It's ok, Ash. She lied to me too. Should we go out there?"
"No. Let Leia have her fun now. I'm going to talk to her about this."

"Sorry." Dana left the room with that.
Leia felt someone's eyes on her,but when she looked up she didn't see
anyone. She pulled away from the kiss and saw a smile form on Jacob's mouth.
All of a sudden, she felt guilty. She didn't know why. It's not like I slept
with him or something. Maybe it's just because I've thought of him as a
friend for the past year and a half. Jacob looked up at her to see that she
had a look of hurt on her face.
"What's wrong, Leia?"
"I don't know what it is. I just have this feeling. I can't shake it
off."
"I can help." Jacob leaned in to kiss her again, but she pulled away.
"Look, I have to go. Too many things are happening."
Leia got off the chair and walked into the house. Jacob looked after her
in disbelief. He didn't know what just happened. One minute he was kissing
Leia, the next she just gets up and walks off. That's a girl for you. Always
playing hard to get. Jacob just sat there thinking about what he had to do.
Leia went into her room to find Ashley sitting on her bed. He looked up
at her with anger in his eyes. Leia mouthed uh oh as she closed her door. She
knew something had upset Ashley, and she was pretty sure what that something
was.
"Hello, Leia." He patted the spot by him to indicate for her to sit next
to him. "Remember that talk we had this morning?"
"Yeah."
"You remember that part where you told me that you and Jacob were just
friends?"
Oh crap was all Leia could think. She knew right then and there that
Ashley had somehow found out about them kissing. She didn't know how, but she
knew. "Listen Ashley I'm sor..."
"Don't you even begin to apologize. You best just save that for after
I'm done." Leia sat still as her brother stood up and began to pace the
floor. "All I asked was if you had feelings for Jacob. You told me no. But
what do I see when I go out to get the phone?"
Ashley paused a minute. Leia thought he was waiting for her to answer.
"A very nice moonlight?"
"Don't you give me none of your lip!" he shouted. "I see my sister and
my best friend locking lips on the porch. And it's just weird to me that it
this is happening even after you told me you two were just friends! You lied
to me!"
Leia couldn't believe he was yelling at her because of this. "You listen
to me Ashley Parker Angel! The first time you asked me
was this morning before I even got the chance to talk to Jacob. When I went
to go see him...I don't know something just happened and we were about to
kiss but were interuppted by Trevor. When I went out to the patio, Jacob came
out to check up on me and it just happened! Ok? I'm not going to apologize
for kissing, but I will apologize for actually thinking you'd understand. You
have no clue what I've been going through these past couple of weeks. I've
been thinking about my relationship with everyone including yours. I thought
it was going good, but now I see it wasn't. Just get the hell out of my room
and don't you even dare try to come in here the next morning giving me this
big apology because it won't work!"
"Yeah well I guess you'll have to explain to Dana why her best friend
can't even tell her that she likes someone." Ashley slammed the door as he
left.
"Oh my God," Leia whispered to herself. "Dana saw us too. She's probably
thinking I'm keeping stuff from her. I have to go talk to her."
Leia walked out of her room and walked towards Dana's door. She thought
of what to say as she knocked. Dana answered the door and let Leia in. Leia
took this as a good sign.
The first words out of Dana's mouth were, "Why didn't you tell me you
had a thing for Jacob?"
"Because all of it just happened tonight. I mean I had gone to apologize
to him and we got into an argument. I got upset and he felt bad and we just
almost kissed, but then Trevor came in and said that I had a visitor. I think
I'll just skip to when I left the room because I'd rather not reflect on
that. I went out to the patio because I was upset. Next thing I know, Jacob
comes out to see if I was okay and we kiss."
"Are you going to date him?"
"I don't know, Dana. I honestly don't. I mean, Jacob's sweet and all,
but I started to feel guilty after I pulled away from the kiss. Maybe it was
because this is exactly what Ashley thought was happening between me and him
the first time he saw us in Jacob's bed."
"I don't know what to tell you. Ashley was so pissed when he saw you
two."
"I know we just got into a huge argument about that. He thinks I lied to
him about Jacob. Why would I not tell my brother I'm dating his best friend?
That's why I don't think it would work out. We've been friends for a while
and plus he's my brother's best friend also. If we broke up not only would
our friendship be ruined, but his and Ashley's as well. I couldn't let that
happen."
"So, you're not going to date him?"
"I have no clue. All I'm worried about right now is Ashley. He was so
angry at me. I don't know what I'm going to do. I guess I should go now.
Thanks for always being there for me. I'll never forget it."
At that moment, Dana wanted to tell Leia about her crush on her older
brother, but she didn't know. "Leia." Leia stopped at the door and turned
around. Dana thought a moment then went on. "I...I...like your brother.
Please don't hate me."
"Hate you? Why would I hate you? That's great, Dana."
"No it isn't."
"Why not? "
"Because I can't date him."
"Why's that?"
"For the same reasons why you won't date Jacob."
"Ohhh. Don't worry. I'll think of something and so will you."
"I hope so, Leia. I really do."
Leia left the room knowing she had to do something about her and Jacob.

Episode 8- You Know I'd Fight For You

Leia was in her room thinking about her and Ashley's fight and about the
kiss out on the patio when there was a knock at her door. She could pretty
much guess who it was, so it was no shock to her when she opened the door to
find Jacob standing there. She let him in and wasn't surprised when the first
words out of his mouth were asking what was wrong with her.
"What do you mean?" Leia asked as she took a seat next to him on the bed.
"You know exactly what I mean. It's like right after we kissed you got
this expression on your face as if something was wrong. Then when I go to
kiss you again you leave. What's up?"
"I don't know what's up, Jacob. I don't even know what's going on with
Dana anymore! Just when my life couldn't get any worse, it ends up my best
friend kisses me and my ex shows up. I can't take anymore of this."
Jacob put his arm around Leia's shoulder as she began to sob. "Leia,
it's going to be ok..."
"No it isn't going to be ok, Jacob! You don't understand. Me and Ashley
just got in a fight because he saw us kissing!"
"I'm sorry. I didn't know he saw us."
"Well neither did I. He told me he did and he's hurt, Jacob, seriously
hurt. I feel like crap."
"Don't. It's my fault. I shouldn't have brought this on."
"It's not your fault, Jacob. I shouldn't have kissed you. I've lead you
on."
"What do you mean you've lead me on?" Jacob was now standing up with his
hands on his hips.
"I have lead you on because if you think a relationship will be the
result of that kiss; then, you're wrong. I just can't. I'm sorry."
"No, I'm sorry, Leia. I should never have kissed you. I thought maybe
that we could hook up, but I guess not. Before I go, I just want to let you
know that I love you." Jacob walked out of Leia's bedroom.
"Jacob..." Leia began, but it was too late he had closed the door. Leia
slammed her fist on the door. "Dammit!!" she screamed. She began to sob
uncontrollably. This all had to be a horrible nightmare. She just knew it had
to be. She heard Dana come in, and felt her hugging her.
Dana was in her room when she heard Leia scream. She looked out her door
to see Jacob leaving her room. Dana immediately ran into Leia's room to find
Leia sobbing on the floor. Dana wrapped her best friend in a hug.
"Shhh, Leia. Calm down please. Jacob's not worth it," Dana tried to
comfort her. She kept rubbing Leia's back as she held Leia. She just wanted
to go hunt Jacob down and kill him for doing whatever he did to make her hurt
this much.
"It's not fair...Jacob," Leia kept sobbing. Dana saw Erik pass by in the
hallway.
"Erik!" Erik peeked his head in.
"What's wrong with her?" he asked when he saw Leia crying.
"I don't know. Can you please stay with her while I go and find out?"
"Yeah. Sure." Erik kneeled in front of Leia. "Leia, it's Erik. What's
wrong, babe?"
Dana stormed out of Leia's room and just walked right on into Jacob's.
He was sitting on the edge of his bed with his head in his hands. She saw his
shoulders shake and heard him sniffle. OMG! Is he crying? Well I hope he is
because he made Leia cry. Dana thought as she approached him.
"I hope you feel so horrible, Jacob Christopher Underwood! I bet you're
happy to know that Leia is in her room crying her heart out! What the hell
did you say to her?"
Jacob turned around. His usual kind blue eyes turned into ice that
pierced Dana with his look of anger mixed with sadness. His voice matched his
eyes. "Oh yeah, Dana, my main goal in life is to hurt Leia in any way
possible. I mean since I am such an asshole. Of course I feel horrible! It
doesn't matter what I said to her because nothing I'll ever say to her will
make her forgive me. Just get out. Tell everyone else to leave me be."
"Fine. If I ever see you near Leia again, I will personally kick your
ass. I'm not going to be having her cry every damn day."
Dana slammed the door on her way out. She walked back to Leia's room.
Her and Erik were now on the bed. Leia kept her head buried in his chest.
Dana could see Erik had gotten her to calm down somewhat. Erik looked up to
see Dana and got up off the bed. Dana sat back down and tried to get Leia to
stop crying enough to let her know what happened.
"Dana, I don't want to talk about what made me like this ok? I'm sorry."
"It's ok, I understand." Dana thought a moment about what upset her best
friend this much. "He told you he loved you didn't he?"
Leia looked up at her. "He told you?"
"No, but I can tell from the way you are acting and from the way he's
acting. That's the only logical thing. Look, I'm going to leave you alone for
awhile, so you can calm down, ok? My door is always open when you need to
talk."
Dana walked out of the door and ran outside to begin crying. She hated
seeing Leia like this. Why couldn't anything ever go right for her? Then
there was just the whole ordeal with Ashley. She knew that they could end up
fighting just as bad as Leia and Jacob were at the moment. Dana had sat down
and brought her knees up to her chest, and had buried her face into them. She
just wanted everyone to be happy. She didn't want Leia and Ashley fighting,
she didn't want to see both Leia and Jacob crying over the other, and she
couldn't go on without letting Ashley know how she feels. Once she was done
crying, she went back inside. She thought maybe some television would calm
herself down. She turned on Mtv to find they were running a Making the Band
marathon.
"Oh that's just great. Just what I needed to see," Dana said. She was
about to change the channel when they showed a shot of Ashley in the shower.
Dana smirked a little. "Maybe that is what I needed to see."
"I don't know about that," said Ashley as he came from behind her and
sat down beside her. "I think they kind of screwed the audience over. They
could have gotten a better shot than just that. I mean, you can barely see my
chest."
Dana wondered how long he was standing there before he decided to let
her know that he was there. "How long were you standing there?"
"Just long enough to see that it takes seeing me in a shower to cheer
you up. If I had known earlier Dana that you need to cheer up, I would have
invited you."
"Like there isn't millions of prepubescent teens that are like gawking
at that for the upteenth time." Dana was about to say something else, but she
caught a look in Ashley's eyes. "What?"
"Why are your eyes so red?" he asked. "Have you been crying?" Dana
nodded. "Why what happened?"
Dana began to cry again as she stared straight ahead. "It's Leia. She's
so upset over something. I think Jacob said something to her. She's just
crying a lot. I'm surprised she's still got tears left. I just don't know
what to do to cheer her up. I'm not being a very good friend to her."
"Hey," Ashley put his hand on her face and tilted it, so they could make
eye contact. "Hey, don't say that about yourself. Just because you can't
cheer Leia up doesn't make you a bad friend. It's probably mostly me she's
crying about. In case you didn't know me and her had just gotten into a fight
earlier." Dana just sat there trying to comprehend what Ashley was saying.
All she had on her mind was how hot he looked in just the white wifebeater
and boxers he had on. "Everything's going to work out fine, Dana. God knows
what's best for us and he'll do everything to help us fix it, right?" Dana
didn't answer. "Dana, you with me here?"
Dana shook her head as if trying to get out of the trance Ashley had put
her in. "Yeah. I'm sorry I just spaced for a moment."
"Oh." Ashley looked at her, and she could have sworn she saw him move an
inch closer. He must have decided against whatever he was planning to do
because he told her good night and got off the couch to head upstairs.
Dana knew the next couple weeks were going to be crazy with the two main
people in her life fighting, but she didn't know how crazy. Dana was so sure
Leia would go back to the way she was after Rich had dumped her, but she
acted the exact opposite. She talked to everybody...well everybody who wasn't
mad at her. Dana could see she paid special attention to Rich. Whenever Leia
would flirt with Rich, she'd look over at Jacob and saw him scowl. She knew
what Leia was doing; she was using what she knew would make Jacob angry
against him. Dana knew that Jacob did not like Rich one bit. Let alone Rich
took the one girlfriend away from him now Leia was making Jacob think he was
taking her away too.
Leia knew she shouldn't have been flirting with Rich, but she just
wanted to prove something to Jacob. What that something was, she didn't know
just yet. After lunch one day, Leia was rinsing the dishes off when Rich had
come into the kitchen. He offered to help her, but she politely declined.
"Oh, come on, I want to help," he said ignoring her as he walked beside
her.
"Whatever your choice." Leia handed him a dish. "So how are things going
between you and Brooke?"
"Things are ok I guess. Why do you ask?"
"Just trying to make conversation."
"I don't think that's the only thing you're trying to do." Rich put the
dish down he had and took the one from Leia's hand.
"What do you mean?"
"I think you want me back. You realized how much you've missed me and
how great I was. Now you want me back."
"Oh please don't make your ego grow any bigger than it already is."
"Then why have you been flirting with me lately?" Rich backed her up
against the counter.
"Flirting? What do you mean flirting? Rich some random girl off the
street can say hi to you and you'd take that as flirting."
"Well, that random girl hasn't been all over me for the past two weeks.
Unlike someone in this house."
"Rich, just drop it. I shouldn't be surprised that you haven't changed
one bit." Leia tried to walk off, but Rich had put his hands against the
counter trapping her.
"I remember this," he said becoming closer to her. "We'd get into a
fight; then, kiss and make out...I mean up."
"Well, I hope you enjoy those memories because it won't happen again."
"Oh it won't? I think differently about that." Rich leaned in close and
brought his lips to Leia's.
Leia tried to back away, but Rich kept his hand on her. He placed his
hand on her thigh and began to rub it. Leia tried to push him away, but Rich
was too strong. She felt him being pulled off her a few seconds later. She
looked up to see that Jacob had pulled him off her.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Rich yelled at Jacob.
"I was about to ask you the same thing. I think I heard her tell you to
get away from her."
"Yeah well mind your own damn business."
"She is my business."
"Really now? It isn't my fault she's a tease."
Leia just stood there, and looked from Jacob to Rich. Suddenly, Jacob
punched Rich in his mouth. Leia gasped as Jacob jumped onto Rich, and a fight
broke out.
"RICH GET OFF OF HIM!!!!" Leia screamed as she tried to get Rich off of
Jacob.
Rich just slapped her off which pissed off Jacob more. "You dumbass
don't you ever call her a tease! And don't you ever hit her."
Leia fell to the floor with the slap. She held her face as she looked to
see where everybody was. Why wasn't anyone coming in here to stop this? Leia
looked behind her to see Cindy in the doorway. Cindy looked at the boys;
then, at Leia.
"Oh my God. I'll go get someone." Cindy ran back towards the recording
studio.
Now Leia figured out where everyone was. She remembered they were doing
a performance at this TRL at your house thing and they had to rehearse. Jacob
was probably just coming out for water and heard Rich. Leia watched as Dan
and Ashley tried to pull the two off each other.
"Why must everyone always fight in this house?" Leia asked as she walked
out of the kitchen.
Dan and Ashley were finally successful in getting the two off each
other. Jacob was still trying to get ahold of Rich. First, he steals my
girlfriend, then he comes back here, next he tries to kiss Leia, and he calls
her a tease! I'll kill his ass.
"LET ME GO!" Jacob screamed as he tried to go for Rich.
"COME ON YOU LITTLE WANNABE BADASS! LET'S SEE YOU TRY!"
Dan pulled Jacob into the recording studio to calm down. It took Ashley,
Trevor, and Erik to get Rich to go back into his room. Dan tried everything
to calm Jacob down.
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!" yelled Dan when he saw that Ashley had
also come to see how Jacob was doing.
"DON'T YOU YELL AT ME, DAN! THAT FUCKER CALLED LEIA A TEASE AND HE
FORCED HIMSELF ON HER! IF I DIDN'T COME OUT TO GET SOME WATER, LORD ONLY
KNOWS WHAT ELSE HE WOULD HAVE DONE!"
"He called her a what?" Ashley said angrily. "What that little...I'm
going to kill him." Ashley started towards the door, but Dan stopped him.
"Look, we don't need another fight going on. One was bad enough."
"Hey, I'm sorry," said Jacob as he looked at Dan, "but I wasn't going to
let anyone get away with insulting her like that."
"Yeah well just ignore him from now on. Trevor is calling Lou and Mike
to tell them what had happened, so hopefully Rich and Brooke will leave now."
"I'm going to go see how Leia is." Jacob got up, but Dan stopped him.
"Remember what I said, Jacob."
"I will. I wasn't even going to fight him the first time."
"Ok ok. Can we not talk about this anymore?" said Ashley as he paced the
floor.
"What did you say to her, Ashley?" Jacob asked him.
"Say what to who?"
"You said something to Leia to change her mind about going out with me."
"All I said is that she lied to me. I guess I was just mad because I'm
having problems of my own; I just took them out on her. I'm sorry, Jacob. I
don't care if you guys date. Just don't hurt her please."
"I promise I won't." Jacob went out of the recording studio and upstairs
to Leia's room. He knocked on the door. There was no answer; he peeked in the
door to find Leia holding an ice pack to her face. Leia looked up at him as
he sat next to her on the bed. "What happened to your face?"
"When I tried to get Rich off you, he slapped me." Leia turned her head
away.
"Leia, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to fight in front of you like that. I
wasn't going to let him get away with what he did."
"I know, Jacob. I appreciate you doing that too. Rich was right though.
I am a tease." Leia saw that Jacob was about to argue with her, so she put a
hand up to stop him. "Just hear me out ok? I sit there and I flirt with you
like crazy; then, when you finally do something about it, I back off. Next, I
flirt with Rich, and I push him away when he begins to kiss me. He was right,
Jacob."
"I don't want to hear you say that. Rich is never right. Don't listen to
him. You just got scared is all. As for Rich, you were just I don't know, but
you're not a tease. I don't fall in love with teases."
"Jacob, please, don't say it if you don't mean it."
"I do mean it, Leia, I love you. I don't care what Ashley thinks. As a
matter of fact, I just talked to him and he said he'll talk to you later
about it. Leia, give this a chance."
"I don't know, Jacob."
"Would at least look at me when I say this?" Jacob turned Leia's face
towards his. "I love you, and I want to be your boyfriend. Please?"
Leia thought for a moment. She'd love to date Jacob, but what about
their friendship?

Episode 9- How Can I Fight For Someone Who Isn't Even There

Leia thought a moment. She wanted to date Jacob. He'd treat her so way
better than Rich did. Sadly, there was a part of her that was still wanted to
hold onto that friendship they had. She realized that the friendship would be
ruined either way. They both have gone too far to turn back to the friends
they were. Leia looked at Jacob; he was anxiously waiting for her answer.
"Leia," said Jacob when he saw her look at him, "it's your choice.
Don't be feeling sorry for me ok?" He looked down at the ground. "If you want
to be friends;then, just say so."
Leia took her hand and placed it on the side of his face. She turned
his head, so she could look in those beautiful blue eyes of his. "Jacob?"
"Yeah."
"I made my choice." Before he could say another word, she kissed him.
"So that's a no?" joked Jacob.
"That's a hell no." Leia began to laugh.
"Damn. I knew it." Jacob snapped his fingers. "Now that that's over,
what now?"
"I don't know. I guess when Ashley comes to talk to me I'll tell him.
Everybody else can just figure it out on their own or Ashley will probably
tell them."
"Yeah." Jacob looked at the clock to see it was going on eight
o'clock. "Shoot."
"What is it?"
"I still have to rehearse something for that TRL thing we're
preforming at." Jacob got off the bed. "Do you want to come and watch?"
"Sure." Leia followed Jacob into the recording studio. "What songs are
you guys preforming?"
"We're singing 'All or Nothing' and 'Girl'."
"You should sing 'Liquid Dreams' since that will probably be on the
countdown."
"That's what I told them, but Jay, Lou, and all the other business
people are like sing the new single. Promotion, promotion."
"Our poor Jakey." Leia found a spot on the floor, and sat down. "So,
what do you have to rehearse."
"I've got these lines in 'All or Nothing' that I just can't hit the
note just right."
"You sounded just fine the one time I heard you sing it."
Jacob remembered back to the day that had started that whole thing.
"Well, I don't know what's wrong now."
"Stop talking then, and start singing." Leia laughed a little.
"Who do you think you are? Mike? "
"No. If I was Mike, I would be telling you that you need to soften up
your voice a little."
"Don't even get me started with that whole thing again."
"I won't. Just start singing already."
"Ok." Jacob started singing until he got to this one part. "Don't make
me promises baby you never did know how to keep them well. I've had the rest
of you now I want the best of you. It's time for show and tell." Jacob
stopped, and looked at Leia.
"What?"
"Don't you hear how the note isn't quite enough."
"Enough what? Jacob, it sounded fine to me."
"It's just not enough."
"Think of something that'll motivate you to sing the best that you
can."
Jacob took Leia's advice. He thought about the whole situation that he
went through just to get her. It sort of reminded him of the song. He sang it
again, and this time it came out just fine.
"That was better. Thank you, Leia."
"No problem." Jacob bent down to kiss her when Dana came running into
the recording studio. "Dana, what is it?"
"You guys will never guess who's here."
"Who?" Leia said as she stood up.
"Shelli."
"WHAT!!!!" Jacob and Leia both yelled.
"You heard me. She says she needs a place to stay because she needs to
be away from California for awhile."
"Is there a sign hanging over the house that says 'The O-Town Hotel:
All exes welcome'?" Leia questioned.
She was so angry. Shelli had some nerve coming back here. She used to
like Shelli, but after all that drama between her and Ashley that I'm sure
everyone saw on "Making The Band", Leia really just didn't like how she
basically gave Ashley an ultimatum. If she really loved him, she wouldn't
have made him choose. She would have been happy for him that he's getting to
live out his dream. (Ashley or any O-Town member if you ever read this please
please don't hate me. Ok I just watched the latest episode so now I don't
really have anything against Shelli but this is just a story though. So still
don't hate me.)
"Has Ashley seen her yet?" Jacob asked.
"No. He went to the store."
"Boy is he in for a shock," Leia said as she left the recording studio
to go greet Shelli.
Shelli was sitting on the couch when Leia entered the living room.
Erik was talking to her, but stopped when he saw Leia come in. Shelli looked
behind her to find that Leia, Dana, and Jacob had come into the living room.
"Leia!" Shelli said with shock. "Oh my gosh, it's been so long since
I've seen you. Look at how much you've grown. How old are you now?"
"I'm 18. You've changed a lot too."
"18? You've grown into one beautiful young lady. The last time I saw
you was when you were about 16."
"Yeah. You look great. What brings you here, Shelli?"
"Well, I just got into a fight with my parents, and I needed somewhere
to go. Besides California gets so dull after a while."
Before anyone could say anything else, there was a gasp. Dana nor Leia
had to look to see who it was because they knew.
"Shelli?" Ashley asked as he looked at her with disbelief in his eyes.
"Hey, Ash." She hugged him. Leia looked over to Dana to see a jealous
look on her face.
"What are you doing here?"
Dana just left before she heard the whole story again. She went
upstairs to her room, and just laid on her bed. She couldn't believe what was
happening. She knew Shelli was going to try to get back with Ashley, and
knowing Ashley he'd probably get back with her. Dana knew that any chance she
had with Ashley just went out the window the minute Shelli came in through
the door. Before Dana could stop herself, she began to cry. She didn't hear
Leia come in to check on her. Leia knew to leave her alone, so she just told
Dana she'd be back later.
Leia was talking to Jacob when Ashley came up to her. "Can I talk to
you outside please?"
"Sure." Leia followed him outside.
"Leia, I know you said not to come apologizing to you the next day or
whatever after I yelled at you like that. I just feel so bad. I need to say
I'm sorry for being such a jerk. So, I'm sorry."
"Ashley, it's ok. I know that you were just surprised and I know
you've had other things on your mind, and just seeing me and Jacob set you
off."
"You know me too well." Ashley smirked.
"Yeah and I know you well enough to let you know that Dana is in her
room right now upset over certain people being in this house. I emphasize on
the certain."
"She is?" Ashley became worried. "I apologized, so my job here is
done. Now onto the next problem." Ashley got up, and went up to Dana's room.
He knocked on the door.
Dana was still crying when she heard the knock. "Who is it?" she
managed to choke out.
Ashley could hear it in her voice that she was crying, and he felt so
horrible. "It's Ashley, can I come in?"
Oh just who I need to see right now. The one guy I'm crying over, but
I can't just tell him to go away. Damn. Dana thought. "Yeah sure."
Ashley came in and saw Dana trying to wipe her tears away. "Dana,
what's wrong?"
Dana shook her head. "Nothing. Don't worry about me."
Ashley sat by her on the bed. "Don't tell me nothing. I'm sick of
seeing everyone cry around here. You can tell me."
"No I can't."
"Why not?"
"I just can't, Ashley, ok?" Dana did not feel like answering five
million questions at the moment. She just wanted Ashley to hug her and tell
her everything would be ok.
"Fine," Ashley said angrily as he got up and slammed her door on his
way out.
Dana just sat there. She has never had Ashley mad at her, and now she
knew how Leia felt when the one person she loved and cared about was mad at
her. Dana knew Ashley had to be told, and she just had to get this off her
chest before she just brokedown completely. She sighed as she got up from the
bed, and went to his room. She looked in there, and he wasn't there. She then
remembered where Ashley went when he was upset. She found him out on the
porch playing "Iris" by the Goo Goo Dolls.
"And I don't want the world to see me cuz I don't think that they'd
understand. When everything's made to be broken, I just want you to know who
I am."
Dana knew Ashley only played his guitar when he needed to be away from
everything, so she decided to wait till he got inside to say she was sorry.
She went to turn on around when Ashley stopped playing.
"And where do you think you're going?" He turned around to face her.
"To leave you alone."
Ashley patted the seat next to him. "No we need to talk."
Dana took the seat beside him. "Yes we do."
"Ok first of all, what's been wrong with you lately?"
"Ash, it's just that I need to tell you something, but I have no idea
on where to begin with it. And lately it just has gotten really stressful on
me."
"What do you need to tell me?"
Dana has recited so many times how she'd say it, but now she just
couldn't remember what she'd say. She thought very carefully about the words
to use. "Ashley, I'm....I'm...." Dana knew she couldn't chicken out. "Ashley,
I'm in love with you," she blurted out. She quickly looked down at the
ground. She didn't even want to see his face.
Ashley just looked at Dana shocked. He couldn't believe that she's
felt the same way for him that he felt about her. "Dana, I feel the same way."
Dana looked up at him. "You do?"
"Yeah. Just the night at the movies started it all. You're just so
sweet, caring, and beautiful. I didn't know how to tell you, and that's why I
started to distance myself. That one night when I saw you crying on the couch
over Leia, I just wanted to kiss you so bad. I almost did, but I just
couldn't because you were so emotional."
Dana couldn't help but to smile. "Well, I'm not emotional now."
"That's right."
Ashley cupped her face with his hands, and brought his face closer to
hers. When their lips met, Dana just wanted to melt. He was a very good
kisser. She brought her arms around his neck to pull him closer, and to just
hold onto him just in case it was all a dream. If it was a dream, she didn't
want it to end. She wanted the moment to last forever. Sadly, the kiss had to
end. Dana smiled as she looked up at Ashley. Ashley picked up his guitar
again, and began to play "Baby I Would" for her. Dana tried not to cry, for
she had cried enough.
"Awwww." Leia was looking out the window as she, Jacob, Cindy, and Dan
watched the scene before them. "That's just too precious."
"That's our little womanizer," said Jacob as he brought his arms
around Leia's waist and laid his head on her shoulder. Leia looked at him and
kissed his cheek as she began to play with one of his many dreads. Jacob just
smiled at her.
Meanwhile in his room, Rich was planning along with Brooke how to get
Leia back and for Brooke to get Jacob back.
"Well," said Brooke as she paced the floor, "we have to think up
something soon. Have you seen them? They haven't even been dating a day yet,
and they're all over each other. It's sickening. I wish I were her."
"How do you think I feel?" Rich asked from his bed. "Don't you think
I'd like to have my hands on Leia right now? I'm going to get her back, and
you'll have your little boy toy back ok?"
"How? They're like so in love with each other."
Rich smiled evially as he motioned for Brooke to come closer. "I just
got an idea." Brooke smirked as she walked over to him, and he whispered it
into her ear.

Episode 10-I've Had the Rest of You:
A couple of weeks since that night passed by. Jacob and Leia were doing pretty good. Leia still couldn't believe that she was dating Jacob. She could have never imagined that she would be dating not only her best friend, but her brother's best friend as well.
Ashley and Dana were getting along just great. Dana loved Ashley. He was the sweetest thing to her. He'd buy her flowers, and just sing to her sometimes. He has even began to teach her how
to play the guitar. Cindy, sadly, had to go back to school. Dan was upset, but he had too many things going on his mind which made him quickly forget
his pain.
One lovely July night found Jacob and Leia out on another date. They had just saw Crazy/Beautiful. Leia was still thinking about how hot Jay
Hernandez looked when Jacob had stopped in his tracks.
"Jacob, what is it?" Leia looked at him.
"There's our two favorite people." Jacob kept his eyes on them. Leia looked over to see who he was looking at. Right by the payphone was Rich and Brooke.
"Come on, Jacob, let's go before they see us." Leia lead him to the doors.
"Look at them," Rich said to Brooke. "They think we haven't seen them
yet. How can anyone miss them with Jacob's wacked up hair?"
"I think it's cute," said Brooke.
"Of course you would. Man, I can't wait till I'm with Leia again. It will be my hands on her and not Jacob's." Rich took one last look at Leia and
licked his lips.
Brooke shook her head. "You know sometimes I wonder how you and Leia dated that long."
"Oh shut up. Let's go find a seat." Rich grabbed Brooke's hand.
Jacob and Leia had gotten into Jacob's car. Jacob was angry, and he didn't know why. He still wants to beat Rich's ass everytime he sees him. He
doesn't though because he knows Leia would get upset. Jacob glanced over at her; she was messing with the radio to find a station. She stopped when she heard "Peaches and Cream" by 112. Leia looked over at Jacob; he was concentrating on the road. He had a look of anger on his face.
"J?" That was Leia's new nickname for him. He looked quickly over at her to show that she had his attention. "What's wrong?" She touched his arm.
"Nothing."
"Don't lie to me."
"I'm not lying to you."
"Jacob, I can tell when you're angry."
"Ok, ok so I'm mad. What else is new?" Jacob finally snapped.
"Jeez," said Leia as she looked out the window. "Excuse me for caring."
Jacob felt bad for saying that to her. He didn't know why he was acting like that. "I'm sorry. I guess I'm just getting stressed after that
tour we had, and the promotions we've got coming up."
"Well don't take it out on me. All I asked was what was wrong. You didn't have to snap at me."
Leia wasn't in the mood to be yelled at. She had just found out that she couldn't take two of the classes she had wanted to in college because
they filled up. Then at breakfast that morning, Rich had kept looking at her and trying to play footsies with her. She didn't tell Jacob because she didn't want another fight breaking out.
After Leia's response, Jacob shut up. He knew when to leave her alone, and let her cool down. When they got home, Leia didn't even wait for Jacob to open the door for her like he usually did. She just got out and stormed into the house. Dana and Ashley were in the living room playing around. Dana heard the door slam and watched Leia go to her room.
"I wonder what her problem is," Ashley said when he saw his sister.
"I don't even need to ask," Dana replied when she saw Jacob come in the house following her. Dana shook her head.
"First fight?" Ashley asked.
"From what I've been told, this would be it."
"Hey, my room is right next to Leia's. Wanna go listen?" Ashley got up, and helped Dana up.
"You nosy little thing."
"Yeah and?"
Dana laughed as Ashley lead her to his room. They listened through the wall and heard murmured voices.
"Well this sucks," said Dana. "We can't hear anything yet."
"If you can't hear it; then, it's not worth hearing in the first place. The yelling is when it gets good."
"Ashley! From now on I'm whispering when me and Leia are in there."
Meanwhile, in Leia's room, her and Jacob were having their first fight.
"Look, I said I was sorry," Jacob said when he saw Leia still refused to talk to him. "What else do you want me to do? Huh?"
"See there you go snapping at me again!"
"I wasn't snapping at you! I just wish you'd get over it and move on."
Leia looked at Jacob as if he just slapped her. "Get out of my room!"
Jacob just stood there. He couldn't believe what he had just said either.
Leia got more angry when she saw Jacob wasn't moving. "Go!"
"I'm sorry." Jacob went over to her and touched her shoulder.
"Don't." Leia backed away from him.
"I said I was sorry." Jacob went over to her, and hugged her. "I didn't mean to snap at you, and I didn't mean a single word I said."
Leia sighed, and laughed a little. "No I'm sorry too. I've just been so stressed lately with all this stuff going on around me. I shouldn't have
gotten all snappy at you."
"It's ok. You're forgiven since I love you so much." Jacob tilted his face down, and kissed Leia softly on her lips.
Dana heard the smooching from the wall. "Awww they made up."
"Yeah and now they're making out," said Ashley.
"Hmmm? I suddenly have the urge to make out too." Dana scooted closer to Ashley on his bed they were sitting on to hear the whole thing. Dana put
her hand on Ashley's face as she moved her lips closer to his. Ashley wrapped his arms around her waist as he brought himself closer to kiss her.

Episode 11-Now I Want the Best of You:
"Brooke, do you remember what the plan is?" Rich asked when he saw Brooke hadn't responded yet.
"Yeah, break up Jacob and Leia," Brooke finally responded.
Rich let out a sigh of frustration. "Brooke! That's the goal not the plan dammit. Where was your mind when I was explaining everything to you?"
"Well, this morning I saw Jacob shirtless and well..."
"Ok ok please don't go on. I don't feel like tasting my breakfast again."
"You asked."
"Yeah and now I regret it. Anyways the plan is you go outside to where Jacob is and start flirting with him. Leia will come out and see this and get jealous. Then, I'll come out of nowhere and see it too and comfort her."
"Rich...that's not going to get you Leia. That's only going to get you an ass kicking from Jacob."
"Hey," Rich jumped up and towered over Brooke. Brooke cowered away a little. "I kicked his ass get it right." Rich stormed out of the room, but not before he punched the wall.
After a few minutes, Brooke got up and changed into one of her skimipiest bikinis. She walked out of the room now putting her and Rich's plan into action.
"Leia!" Jacob said knocking on her bedroom door. "I'm going to go on outside. Ok?"
"Ok. I'll be out there in a few minutes," she called out.
Jacob went downstairs and headed outside. He sat down in one of the lawn chairs waiting for Leia. Rich saw Jacob sit down, and hoped Brooke would hurry and get her dumb ass out there before Leia did. As if Brooke could read Rich's mind, she went walking outside and sat down by Jacob.
"Oh, I didn't know you were going to be out here," Brooke said as she sat down in front of Jacob.
"Yeah I bet it's a big shock," he said sarcastically.
"Yeah it is." Brooke giggled. Jacob almost cringed. He knew her too well and when she used that giggle, all guys in her sight were in trouble. "So are you out here by yourself?"
"No, Leia should be down here pretty soon."
"Oh. I'll stay till she comes then I have to head back inside. Rich is going to take me to the beach." Brooke was surprised at how well these lies just come right out of her mouth.
"You're still with him even after what he did to Leia?"
"What do you mean what he did to Leia?"
"He kissed her."
"He told me that she had kissed him."
"And you believed him?" Jacob said shocked. "Jeez, Brooke, I thought you were much smarter."
"So what are you trying to say I'm dumb?" Brooke figured she'd play hurt and maybe the goal would come quickly to her.
"No, but you should know that if it were the other way around Leia would have told me before I even threw the first punch."
"Well, maybe it slipped her mind or maybe she just didn't want to tell you."
"Are you calling her a liar?" Jacob's voice took on a slightly angry tone.
"Of course not. I like Leia. What, you think I can't stand her just because she has you?" Jacob just kept quiet. Brooke took that as an agreement. "Jacob that's like telling me I hate Britney just because she has Justin!" Brooke looked away from him and pretended to cry. She managed to squeeze out a few tears.
As Rich watched all of this he just kept thinking about getting Leia back. He was amazed with how much of a good actress Brooke was. She was actually able to get tears out.
Jacob immediately felt bad. "Brooke, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to accuse you like that. It's just that I get defensive of Leia." Jacob put an arm around her. "Please don't cry."
"It's not just that, Jacob. I think Rich is cheating on me now. I should have known better when he cheated on Leia." Brooke wrapped her arms around Jacob and sobbed on his shoulder.
Jacob rubbed his hand up and down her back trying to calm her down."Dump him. You can do better."
Rich laughed to himself. This was getting pretty good. He stopped laughing when he saw Leia walk out to the kitchen.
"What the hell?" Leia asked to herself when she saw Jacob hugging Brooke.
Rich took that as his cue, and acted as if he were just walking out of the recording studio. He looked out at Brooke and Jacob; then, to Leia. He walked until he was right beside her.
"It's a shame." Rich shook his head.
"What's a shame?" Leia looked over at him.
"Leia, I know you see them. They have their arms around each other."
Leia couldn't think of a logical explanation for that. She decided she was going to see what's going on. Without saying one more word to Rich, Leia walked outside. Jacob was still hugging Brooke when Leia walked out there. When he saw her, he let go of Brooke.
"I see you finally came out," Jacob said.
"Yeah, but it looks as if you want to be alone, so I think I'll go now." Leia walked back inside and into the living room where Dana was.
Dana saw an angry expression on Leia's face. "What's wrong?"
"Oh nothing except I go outside to see my boyfriend with his arms around his ex."
"You're kidding!"
"No. I walked right out there and he had his arms wrapped around Brooke. Brooke's head was on his shoulder. It didn't help at all that Rich saw it too."
"Man. Ashley would kill Jacob if he heard that."
"That's why I'm not telling him. I'm going to deal with this on my own."
"Good idea."
Brooke was a little angry that Jacob had let go, but she didn't show it. She heard Jacob say a few curse words; then, he got up.
"I have to go and talk to her." Jacob went inside the house, and found Leia in the living room with Dana. Leia looked up at him; then, turned away. "Dana, could you leave me and Leia alone for a minute? I need to talk to her."
"No, Dana, you stay right there. Whatever you have to say, you can say in front of her."
Dana knew it'd be best off if she left them alone. "Leia, you can tell me what he says later. Besides me and Shelli are thinking about checking out a movie later. I have to go see when she wants to go." Before Leia could protest, Dana got off the couch and ran upstairs to Shelli's room.
Her and Shelli were getting along just great. Dana, Shelli, and Leia would be the three people who'd be giggling half the night over stuff. Shelli even gives Dana advice when she asks her about Ashley. Leia liked Shelli too, but right now she wished Dana would have stayed with her.
Jacob sat beside Leia on the couch. Leia scooted away from him. "Leia, are you mad at me?"
"Oh gee Jacob, you're real quick aren't you?" Leia said with an attitude.
"Hey, there's no need to get sarcastic with me. I was just asking. Now I can see you are. Look, whatever you saw out there, I was just comforting Brooke. She was crying over Rich or something, and I felt bad."
"Yeah I'm so sure."
"Leia! You should know better than that. I'd never ever in my life ever do anything like that to hurt you."
"Oh so now this is all my fault?" Leia stood up.
"Leia, what's wrong?"
"Nothing. Just leave me alone." Leia went to walk off, but Jacob gently grabbed her arm.
"No there's something. You wouldn't act like this over something so little. What is it? You can trust me."
"Jacob, I'm just having a tough time lately ok." Leia shook her arm free of Jacob's hand. "I just need to get some sleep, and I'll be better."
"I just want you to know that I'd never ever hurt you the way Rich did. I would kill myself before I'd do that."
"I know, J, and I'm not mad at you. Like I said, I've just had other stuff on my mind is all." Leia kissed his cheek, and went upstairs to her room.
A few minutes later, Shelli came in. "Hey are you ok? Dana said you and Jacob were fighting."
"Yeah. I walked outside earlier to see him hugging Brooke. I just took it the wrong way."
"Oh, I see."
"Shelli, I have to tell you something, but you must keep this secret. I'm going to tell Dana too, but it has to stay between the three of us."
Shelli immediately became worried. "What is it, Leia?"
"Well...I need someone to go get a test for me."
"Test?" Shelli was a little confused. "What are you talk...ooooh." Shelli realized what Leia meant. "Oh my God! You and Jacob have already..."
"No no...not Jacob. Sadly, if I am, it's Rich's."
"Oh my gosh, Leia."
"I'm not even too sure yet, Shelli. I just woke up today, and I got sick. Plus, I'm like a month or so late. I'm just worried."
"I tell you what. I'll go get one right now, so we can see."
"No, you and Dana have plans. Just pick one up on the way back."
"You sure, Leia?
"Yes. I'm not ruining anybody else's day. Also, tell Dana everything. I don't feel like going through it again." Leia yawned a little.
"I can see you're tired. I'll leave you be." Shelli left and went back to her room. She told Dana everything. Dana could hardly believe it. Leia could possibly be pregnant? And with Rich's kid. Dana prayed on the way to the movies that Leia wasn't. Leia had so much going for her, and it wouldn't be fair for her to have a kid.

Chapter 12--I Don't Care if That's not Fair:

Leia was pacing the floor outside the bathroom as she waited for the test to finish. Both Shelli and Dana offered to stay up there with her, but she needed them to keep the guys downstairs as she waited. Leia was silently praying to God she wasn't going to have Rich's kid. She'd have to tell Jacob, and she knew he would dump her because he was still under the impression she was still a virgin. She knew that was all her fault because when he asked her, that's what she told him. She regretted what she did with Rich and now she definately planned to practice abstinence until she was married. Leia looked at the clock. It has only been 5 minutes! The test took 30 minutes to get the correct results. Leia was so deep in her own turmoil that she didn't hear Jacob come up behind her until he had asked why she wasn't downstairs with the rest of them.

After Leia almost had a heart attack, she replied, "Oh, I'm waiting for the hot water to heat back up because I want to take a quick shower." Leia felt horrible to have to lie to Jacob, but he couldn't find out just yet.

"Oh. Well, hurry up. It's not fun without you down there." Jacob leaned in to kiss her on her lips, but Leia turned her head and he kissed her cheek. Jacob looked at her funny. "Leia, what's wrong?"

"Nothing, nothing at all. I'm just a bit tired that's all. That's why I'm taking the shower to wake me up."

"Oh ok." Jacob gave her another quick peck on her cheek. "The water should be heated by now." He went back downstairs, and Leia let out a sigh of relief.

OMG that was close. I wish the time was up already. Leia looked up at the clock, she still had another 10 minutes. "Oh I'm not going to be able to keep sane if I have to wait any longer." Leia was about to start pacing when she remembered she left the box in her room, so she left to go get it.

"I have to use the bathroom guys I'll be right back," Dan yelled as he walked upstairs.

"Knock first because Leia said she was going to get a shower," Jacob yelled back.

"Where's the fun in knocking? It's the just walking in that's fun." Dan smirked to himself because he could just imagine the look on Jacob's face.

"DANIEL MARK MILLER!!!! YOU BETTER WATCH IT!" Jacob warned him.

Dan just started laughing. "Chill, Jacob, I was just playing. I've seen it before anyways."

"WHAT!!!" Now this time it was Ashley who yelled. "DAN, WOULD YOU LIKE YOUR FUNERAL TO BE OPEN OR CLOSED CASKET?"

"I'd pick closed because after we're through with you, I don't think you'd like your parents to see your face," Jacob added.

"Ok ok I'll stop. I'm sorry." Dan laughed to himself as he walked into the bathroom. His eyes immediately caught something on the counter. He looked at it closer and gasped when he realized what it was. "Someone in this house is pregnant? Or at least they think they are." Dan quickly ran back downstairs to tell everybody about what he found.

Ashley knew there was something wrong when he saw Dan. He just had this look on his face, and Ashley got this feeling in his stomach. "What is it, Dan? You know we were just playing about the whole killing you thing right?"

"No, it's not that. Guys, you won't believe what I saw in the bathroom."

Dana and Shelli both looked at each other and mouthed, "uh oh."

"What is it?" Jacob stood up from his seat on the couch.

"Someone in this house might be expecting."

"What?" asked Ashley. "Dan, what are you trying to say?"

"I saw a pregnancy test in the bathroom. Someone is waiting for the results right now."

Jacob immediately remembered how strange Leia was acting, but it couldn't be Leia. She told him that she was a virgin. Leia wouldn't lie to him...would she?

"Dana," Ashley looked at her, "would you know something about this?"

"No," Dana lied, but she knew he wasn't going to believe her.

"Dana," Jacob was worried now, "please. You have to let us know what's going on. Is that test the reason why Leia's up there pacing back and forth in the hallway?"

"Jacob..." Ashley had a tone of anger in his voice, "you and my sister...already?"

"No, no, no. Trust me, Ashley. She told me she was still a virgin."

Rich had walked into the living room about five minutes before Dan came running down to tell them about his discovery. Rich began to laugh at it all. He knew for a fact that Leia wasn't. He was the one who took it away from her.

Jacob glared at him, "What's so funny, Rich?"

"Jacob, Jacob, Jacob. Man, you are so gullible." Rich looked at him with a smile on his face. "You'd actually think that Leia's a virgin after coming out of a relationship with me?" Rich started laughing hysterically. "Leia's not a virgin. I'm the one who took it away from her."

"You son of a..." Jacob was about to go kill Rich when Ashley held him back. "Let me go, Ashley."

"No, Jacob. I get the first hit this time." Before Rich had a chance to get out of the way, Ashley punched him square in the jaw.

Of course, Rich, being the jerk he was, had to hit back. This started an all out WWF type fight in the living room. Jacob joined in and while Ashley had him down on the ground, Jacob was kicking Rich in his stomach. Trevor, Erik, and Dan were trying to get Jacob and Ashley off Rich. The commotion made Brooke come out, and her, Dana, and Shelli helped the boys.

Jacob could not describe the rage that coursed through his veins at that point. He was angry at Rich for being Leia's first and for acting like it was nothing. Also, he had anger towards Leia for lying to him. It wasn't like he would have dumped her for not being a virgin. Just the thought that she could be pregnant with that asshole's kid pissed him off even more. Jacob kicked Rich again in the ribs.

To Dana it seemed as if the fight was going to last forever.

"What the hell is going on down here?" Leia screamed. She heard the noise from upstairs, but she didn't think anything of it because she was still getting over the fact that she wasn't pregnant. She had come downstairs to get Dana and tell her when she saw the Jerry Springer show in the living room.

Everyone stopped trying to get Jacob and Ashley off Rich, and just looked at Leia. They all knew that now there was going to be some hell in the house. Ashley had ahold of Rich's collar and was preparing to punch him again, but dropped him. He looked at Leia with a look of disgust and hurt. He shook his head as he walked past her and went upstairs.

Jacob suddenly lost interest in kicking the crap out of Rich, and stalked over to Leia until he was just inches from her face. He looked at her; he could tell from the expression on her face that she didn't know what she was about to be in for. Jacob just kept his stare in her eyes. The same eyes he looked into when he told her he loved her, and the same ones that were looking into his when he was betrayed. Jacob couldn't think of what to say to her. He was too hurt far beyond description.

"Why?" That was all Jacob could manage at the moment. He looked at her, and waited for her response.

Leia was pretty sure what happened. She looked over at Dana, Dana just quickly looked to the floor. Leia knew she was in for it now. "How did you find out?"

"I found the test in the bathroom. Rich pretty much confirmed it," Dan explained.

Leia now tried to keep from crying. She was going to have to be strong if she wanted to be ready for the argument her and Jacob were about to get into.

Jacob was still waiting for Leia's answer. He repeated himself, "Why, Leia? Why did you lie to me?"

"J, I didn't know. I'm not pregnant. You can be relieved about that."

"That's not what I'm talking about. I don't care if you were pregnant or not. I mean why'd you lie to me about being a virgin!"

"Because I didn't want you to look down on me."

"What makes you think I'd do that???"

"Because when you found out that Brooke wasn't, you dumped her."

"Leia, that wasn't the reason I dumped her. I dumped her because that was when she told me that she was cheating on me."

"I'm sorry, Jacob."

Jacob shook his head at her. "Leia, sorry isn't going to fix the pain you've just caused me. Actually, sorry isn't going to fix what you just put me through. You lied to me! You abused my trust, and that's something I don't give many people. Actually, you were the only one who had it. NOW YOU LOST IT!!!!"

Leia could feel the tears coming, she sniffled them back. "Jacob, I'm sorry. I should have told you. I didn't mean to hurt you." Leia sniffled again.

Jacob glared at her with hurt mixed with anger. "DON'T YOU EVEN START CRYING! THAT WON'T HELP YOU ANY. YOU HURT ME BEYOND WORDS, LEIA. I DON'T THINK THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID, BUT IT'S OVER!!!!!"

Jacob stomped up the steps to his room, and slammed the door so hard that it shook the house. Leia collapsed onto the floor and began to cry harder than she ever had in her life. She just lost the one guy she had fought so hard for. She was so angry at herself. She knew she should have told him. Dana and Shelli helped Leia off the floor. Rich leaned against the doorframe with a smirk on his face. Him and Brooke accomplished their goal. Leia and Jacob were over. Now he could get her back. Rich walked over to Leia.

"Leia, I'm sorry," Rich went to touch her shoulder, but Leia jerked it out of his reach. "Rich, I mean this till the day that I die. I HATE you. You understand me?" She kneed Rich right in the crotch. She looked at him with such hate as he fell to the floor yet again. "I'm sick just being in the same room with you. I suggest you go find a hotel room tonight because if you don't, I don't think you'll wake up tomorrow." Leia calmly walked up to her room and shut the door.

Leia finally began to realize that her and Jacob were over. He wouldn't be coming into her bedroom in the morning to wake her up with his kisses, or singing her to sleep at night anymore. She brought her hand up to her head as she thought about her life without Jacob. She began to think that maybe there wasn't one without him.

Chapter 13:'Cuz I want it all....
Dana was the only person left downstairs after everything had settled down. Ashley, Jacob, and Leia were still in their rooms; Dana could hear Ashley playing his guitar. Shelli had gone out to go talk to Mike about having Rich at that house. Trevor, Erik, and Dan were in the studio rehearsing. Well, that's what they told Dana. She knew they were probably in there talking about what had happened.
Leia was in her room laying on her bed thinking about how she messed everything up. Her and Ashley wer e actually getting along for the first time in months, there hadn't been any fights, and her and Jacob were doing so good. She didn't know why she felt as if she had to lie to Jacob about being a virgin. Then there Trevor, Erik, and Dan. They all had witnessed what happened. She knew they weren't on her side. They were all with Ashley and Jacob. Shelli was on Leia's side and Leia knew she'd always have Dana. But, Leia knew that these next couple of days were going to be tough. She was going to have to get accustomed to seeing Jacob, and not even being able to look at him for more than a second without him getting mad. As for Ashley, she just didn't know. She knew Ashley was disappointed in her. Not just for what she did with Rich, but being stupid and not protecting herself so the thought of pregnancy wouldn't have even crossed her mind. Plus he had to be angry at her for lying about it all. Leia cried herself to sleep for the first time in years.
Jacob woke up the next morning around six o'clock. He didn't get to bed until three, but he couldn't get to sleep. He had too many things on his mind which caused him to toss and turn those three hours he did sleep. He stumbled downstairs and went to the refrigerator to find something to drink. He was pouring some orange juice into a glass when he saw Dana come in. She sat on the table and laid her head on it.
"Is that better than a pillow?" Jacob asked as he sat across from her.
"Shut up. I couldn't sleep." She mumbled.
"Why couldn't you sleep?"
"Don't worry about it. I don't see why you would care."
"Oh." Jacob knew it was because of Leia she hadn't gotten any sleep. "Well, I guess I'll be going now. Hope you enjoy your comfortable bed that you've made there." Jacob got up when he saw Ashley come downstairs in a hurry. He saw he had a piece of paper in his hand.
"Ashley, what is it?" Jacob asked when Ashley stopped in front of him.
"It's Leia....she's gone!"
"What do you mean gone!" Jacob yelled. That brought Dana out to join them in the living room.
"Ashley, is that from her?" Dana pointed to the paper he had held in his hand.
"Yeah. Here, Jacob, you can read it. I have to go get the others." Ashley handed the note to Jacob, and went to go get everyone else.
Jacob took the note from Ashley, and began to read it to himself.
Ashley,
I'm sorry to have done this, but I left. I couldn't handle everything that happened yesterday. Especially knowing that I disappointed you. I just want you to know that where I get to wherever I'm going I'll call to let you know that I made it ok. But I doubt you care. Out of all the people I hurt by hiding this I'm sure it hurt you the most because I used to go to you w/ everything. When I had a scraped knee, you were the one who bandaged it up. If someone picked on me you were the one to go protect me. But now look what at what I do to pay you back, I put you through total hell. Ok you can read this next part out to Jacob or just have him read the note.
Jacob, I know last night you said sorry wouldn't fix what I did to you. That's true, it won't. But I still feel the need to apologize for what I put you through. I didn't deserve you. You were way too good for me, and I couldn't stand to stay in this house and look at what I had lost because I was stupid. But I just want you to know that I love you and what we did share for that little time will stay in my heart forever. I am sorry, J.
Let Dana know that I'll call her soon to let her know that I've made it.

Jacob handed the note to Dana, so she could read it. He ran upstairs to his room and changed quickly. He knew she couldn't have left too long ago. After all he would have heard her up until 3 and how far could she have gotten in 3 hours? He ran back downstairs and grabbed his car keys. Dana asked where he was going.
"To show her that you can't run away from every problem."
Jacob jumped in his car and peeled out of the driveway. Jacob pretty much had a good idea of where she was going. He turned on the radio to hear "Hanging by a Moment" by Lifehouse on. He started to sing to the song as he saw the turn for the bus station. He knew Leia was going to head back to Redding. He wasn't stupid. She had tried to do this one other time when she had first moved in with them and her and Ashley had gotten into a huge fight. Not even last night's fight could compare to this. Leia had told Ashley to "Stay the hell out of her damn business." and Ashley just went on and on about it. Soon enough that brought on a fight, and everything from the past was brought up, and the fight ended with Leia slamming the door and speeding out of the driveway. A few minutes later after trying to talk Ashley into going after her, Jacob went on his search for her. He found her at a bus station waiting for the next bus to Redding. She didn't like planes, so she couldn't fly back. Jacob pulled into the parking lot to the bus station, and quickly put on a cap to cover up his dreads so he couldn't get noticed. He ran inside, and searched around for Leia. It took him sometime around an hour till he finally caught sight of her. She was sitting on a bench on the other side of the bus station waiting for her bus. He quickly ran outside, and walked up behind her.
While Leia was waiting for the bus, she was thinking back to the last time she was here. She remembered how Jacob came for her, and talked her back into going home. That was back when he cared about her. Leia sighed, "Well, he doesn't care about me anymore. I fucked everything up." Leia put her head in her hands, and tried not to cry again.
"If I didn't care, would I have came to get you?" Leia turned around to see Jacob standing there behind her. She wanted to smile, but she turned back around. Jacob sat beside her. "Leia, come on now. Don't be stupid. Running away never solves anything."
"Well, it's good enough for me. Why do you care anyways? I thought we were over with."
"Leia, we might be over with, but that doesn't mean I can't still care about you. Why do you always take the easy way out? You never want to face up to what you did. You either lie or you pull a stunt like this."
"You know you are such a hypocrite, Jacob."
"Excuse me?" Jacob stood in front of her.
Leia stood up, and looked him right in his eye. "You heard me. I called you a hypocrite."
"How am I a hypocrite?"
"You say how I always take the easy way out? How about you? I lie to you about something, and you break up with me. Simple as that right. Instead of talking it out with me, you just dump me, so you don't even have to hear why I did it. Didn't you even bother to hear why Brooke cheated on you? You just broke up with her, and kicked her out of the house before she got her say. She cheated on you because she felt you weren't paying attention to her. She called you up to tell you she got accepted into UCLA and what do you do? You say you can't talk right now because you have to get to a reahearsal..."
"Well, I did. I tried calling her later on, but she wasn't home. It's not my fault that I have to practice my craft to perfect it."
"Oh don't even give me that crap. She wasn't home because she was over at my house with me and Rich telling us about what happened."
"Whatever." Jacob started to walk away.
Leia grabbed his arm. "I'm not through yet. I stood there last night and had you yell at me, so you can deal with this. What about us, Jacob? You wouldn't even hear me out last night, you just stomp up to your room and slam your door like a little baby."
"Hey, Ashley did that too. What about him?"
"Don't you bring him into this. This is about me and you, not my brother." Leia looked up to see her bus was arriving. She picked up her luggage, and looked at Jacob. "Now it's your choice, J, we're either going to talk this out by ourselves until it's solved, or I'm getting on this bus and going back to Redding until you grow up."
Jacob just stared at her. He didn't know what to say. He couldn't talk it out with her, or she'd find out even more stuff that would hurt her. But, he couldn't let her get on that bus. He couldn't decide what meant more to him...what Leia would think about him after they talked or Leia herself.
"Jacob, I can only stop this bus for so long. You got five minutes."
Jacob just looked at her. She had just put a time limit on a decision that would change both their lives.

Chapter 14:Or Nothing at All:
Leia stood there and looked at Jacob. She waited for his reply. "Well, this bus won't wait any longer, Jacob. What is it?"
Jacob looked at her. "Ok ok we'll talk everything out."
Leia nodded her head. "Allright." She took her luggage and lead Jacob back to her car. "Where do you want to go?"
"Wherever, Leia." Jacob started to think about what he would say to her. He knew this was going to break her heart, and if it didn't it would break his to face up to it.
"Let's just go to the lake. There shouldn't be anyone there except a few boaters."
"Ok." Jacob got into his car, and waited for Leia to pull out and then followed her. He didn't know how he was going to tell Leia what he had to tell her.
Leia pulled into the parking lot and waited for Jacob. When Jacob got out of his car, they went to a spot at the edge of the lake and sat down. Leia didn't know exactly how to bring up the conversation, so she decided the best way to do it was just get straight to the point.
"Jacob, I just want to know why you really broke up with me. Let me know what that's all about and I'll explain whatever I can."
"Leia, it hurt that you lied to me."
"I know and I kick myself for doing it now. I just didn't want to lose you. I just kept thinking back to when you and Brooke broke up. I just had assumed that's why you broke up with her."
"You know she cheated on me."
"I know that, and that's the other problem. Why didn't you just talk it out with her?"
"Because I started liking you, and I wanted to be with you by that time."
"Oh." Leia started thinking maybe that's why he broke up with her. "Jacob?"
"Yeah?"
"Is that why you broke up with me? Is there someone else who caught your eye?" Jacob just got this look on his face that gave it away. "Who is she?"
" I don't want to hurt you, Leia."
"You're hurting me now by not telling me. Who is it?"
"Brooke," Jacob muttered. He looked down because he was ashamed of himself.
"You've fallen back in love with Brooke? So I was just a rebound girl? Someone you just dated until you found out if you still loved her or not?" Leia stood up.
"No, Leia, listen to me. I just realized it a week ago that I still care about her. That's why I broke up with you because I didn't know what to do about it."
"Well I'm going to make it easy for you. You go ahead and ask her back out because you don't have to worry about me anymore."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
" You love Brooke, so go be with Brooke. You obviously don't love me or you wouldn't be having this problem." Leia ran back to her car and sped off.
"LEIA!" Jacob called after her as he got back in his car.
He didn't know why he was reacting like that. He pretty much knew that'd she react that way. Jacob decided he'd just go back home, and think everything over. He just wasn't too sure about his feelings for Brooke.
Leia drove home, and got out of the car. She couldn't get over the fact that Jacob was falling in love again with Brooke. She saw Dana run out the door, and run towards her.
Dana hugged her. "Leia, why'd you do that?"
"Because I just was acting on the moment. I wasn't thinking." Leia really didn't feel like talking right now. She just wanted to be alone. "Dana, I just want to be alone for a little while ok?"
"Are you ok? You look upset."
Leia was about to respond when Jacob pulled in the driveway. She gave him a dirty look, and went into the house. Dana started to figure out what was wrong with Leia. It has to be Jacob. What did he say to her??? Dana looked at him, and she saw that he was watching Leia with a look of sadness on his face. Dana really didn't feel like getting in the middle of another Jacob and Leia drama, so she went inside to hear Ashley trying to talk Leia out of her room.
"Leia," Ashley said as he stood at her door, "please talk to me. I'm sorry about last night. I was just shocked that's all."
"Ashley," Leia said from behind the door, "I just want to be by myself right now. I'll talk to you later. I promise. I just want to think some things out that's all."
"Well, whenever you're ready let me know." Ashley went back downstairs to see Dana. "Hey."
Dana knew that he was hurt, and that he felt bad. She pulled him into her arms as he laid his head on her shoulder.
"She's going to forgive you, Ash. You know she still looks up to you as she always did. It's just that she's been through alot today." Jacob came walking through the door as Dana finished her sentence.
Ashley looked up at him, and walked over to him. "What did you do to her?"
"What are you talking about?" Jacob crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"All I know is that you went after her this morning, and when she comes back, all she wants to do is be locked in her room."
"I don't feel like talking about it."
"Well, you are going to talk about it. Because I'd like to know why my sister is isolating herself from the house AGAIN!"
"No offense, Ashley, but it's really none of your business. What happens between me and her is no one's business but our own. So why don't you butt out?"
Ashley raised his fist in the air to hit him, but Dana grabbed his arm. "Ashley, please. We don't need anymore fights in this house."
Ashley looked at her, and nodded. He looked back at Jacob. "Yeah, we don't. That's why Rich got kicked out of here this morning after you left."
"He did?"
"Yeah, so you don't have to fight with him anymore." Ashley took Dana's hand and lead her to his room.
Jacob was so upset. Everything was going wrong that day. Leia's mad at him and Ashley was annoyed with him. Jacob went to the recording studio, and grabbed his guitar. He started to play any song that he could think of. He just wanted to forget about everything for a couple of hours.

Chapter 15: There's Nowhere Left to Fall:
Jacob had gone to his room and sat on his bed. He felt horrible about everything. He knew he'd never get Leia back, and he was sort of glad. She deserved better than him. All he did was hurt people that he cared for. He picked up his guitar, and started to play one of the song's he had been working on for the next album.
Leia laid on her bed trying not to cry. She was getting sick and tired of crying over a guys. First Rich and now Jacob. It's been Jacob almost everytime now. I won't let him get to me this time. Leia didn't feel like talking to Dana about her problems. When Ashley knocked on the door for the third time to try to talk her out of the room, she simply just ignored him. She just needed some alone time. Leia picked up a book, and began to read it. She just wanted to get her mind off of what was happening. She was really getting into the book when there was a knock at the door. Leia figured it was Ashley again, so she ignored it. When the knocking wouldn't stop, Leia became irritated.
"Ashley Parker!! Leave me alone!" she yelled.
The knocking did stop, but only for a voice to reply, "It's not Ashley, it's Dan. Can I come in? Or do you just want to be left alone?"
Leia felt a little bad for yelling at Dan, but she didn't know that it was him. She told him to come in, and when he walked in, she could tell there was something on his mind. He just had one of those looks on his face. He sat on the bed beside her.
"What's wrong?" Leia asked as she turned to face him.
"It's Cindy."
"What about her? Is she ok?"
"Oh, she's fine. It's just that..." Dan looked at her with tears brimming his eyes.
Leia has never seen Dan cry or get so upset over something that he gets close to it. "It's just what, Dan? You can tell me."
"Every time I call her, and I say good bye, I can hear her start to sniffle. Her friends tell me she always cries after I get done talking to her, and that she misses me so much. I don't like hurting her. I love her and care about her so much, and I just don't know what to do."
"Aww, Dan, I hate seeing you like this." Leia put her arm around his shoulders. "Have you talked to her about it?"
"Not yet. That's why I came here. I don't know how she'd react. I don't want to say the wrong thing, and get her mad at me."
"Well, these are the type of talks that no matter what you say someone might get upset. I'm sure if you talked it out with Cindy, and explain to her that you hate seeing her upset, and don't like hurting her, that everything would work out. Cindy loves you a lot. You are one of my best friends, and I don't want to see you get hurt either."
"You really think it would help?" Dan asked as he wiped a tear that had escaped.
"Yeah. You feeling better now?" Leia looked at him with concern.
"Much. Thank you for listening to me, Leia." Dan hugged her to him.
Leia ran her hand reassuringly up and down his back. "No problem. Whenever you need to talk, I'm here."
"I know that. Thanks." Dan got up, and left.
For the first time that day, Leia smiled. She was glad she could help someone else out if she couldn't help herself. She laid down on the bed, and went to sleep.

Leia was watching television one night when Jacob walked in the door. Leia took a look to see who it was, and when she saw it was Jacob, she turned her attention back to the show she was watching. Months had passed since that day. Leia and Jacob hadn't talked since then. He tried, but Leia would just ignore him and walk off. She still couldn't forgive him for what he did. Brooke had moved out because she found out later why Jacob and Leia broke up. Mike told Rich to get out of the house. It ended up that Mike never gave Rich permission to stay there. Rich made the whole story up. Rich had caused all that trouble because he wanted Leia back.
Jacob looked at Leia, and had to do everything in his will power not to start apologizing to her. He's said sorry to her about a million times for about two weeks after everything had settled down. Leia responded by walking off. He knew that it would take a long time to even get Leia to start talking to him again. He gave her one last look, and went to his room.
Leia watched after him. It wasn't that she was still angry with him, it's just that she was hurt. And, she didn't know exactly what to say to him when he apologized. What am I supposed to say? Oh it's ok, J, even though you admitted your love for someone who broke your heart, I'll take you back? I don't think so. Leia was still thinking about it when she heard someone come downstairs. Thinking it was Jacob, she just kept watching the tv. Then she heard Dan's voice.
"Cindy, of course I still love you. I didn't mean it like that."
Leia looked behind her to see Dan sitting on the bottom step leaning his head against the wall.
"I just meant that I don't like it when you cry. I wasn't saying it as a sign for us to break up. I know you don't mean that. Well, maybe it is best for us to end it like this. I will not be getting into a fight with you everytime I talk to you. I don't want to hurt you anymore." Leia's heart just about broke in two when she heard those words. She knew how much Dan loved Cindy, and he didn't want to break up with her. "Cindy, please, I love you so much, but I can't stand to hurt you anymore. I just think it would be best for both of us if we started seeing other people...hello? Cindy? Damn!" Dan obviously didn't know Leia was in the room because when he saw her, he looked surprised.
"Dan, I'm sorry."
"Don't be. It's not your fault, Leia. It's just that I tried what you suggested. I should have known that this was going to happen anyways. I didn't want to face it because I love her so much." Dan plopped down in the chair across from the couch where Leia was sitting, and put his head in his hands.
Leia knew that meant he was upset. She got up, and walked over to him. "Everything will work out, Dan." Leia put her arm around his shoulders. "Remember when I had that fight with Jacob before I started dating him? You told me it could only get better, so it goes the same for you too. She knows that you're trying not to hurt her. It's just shocking." Dan didn't even say anything. Leia took that as a sign that she was bothering him. "If you need to talk, you know my door is always open to you."
Leia removed her arm from his shoulders, and walked back to her room. She hoped Dan would talk to her about it because everyone in the house knows that if Dan keeps things in, he gets very irritable. She remembered when he had gotten upset because no one had been calling him. And, this one day, Ashley, Erik, Trev, and Mike were just teasing him, but Dan took it real personal and he just yelled at them to shut up, and he stormed out of the room. (Yeah I think we all remember this one, but I might have left out a word or two. LOL.) Leia became thirsty, so she decided to go get something to drink. She got off her bed, and opened the door. She looked up just in time to stop herself from running into Dan. It looked as if he was just about to knock on her door, when she came out.
"Dan?"
"I really don't feel like talking about anything, but I just..." Dan's cheeks became red with embarrassment.
"What is it? You can tell me." Leia put her hand on his arm to try to comfort him.
Dan took Leia by surprise when he hugged her. Leia wrapped her arms around his back, and returned the hug. Dan whispered softly into Leia's ear, "I just needed a hug."
"It's okay." Leia began to rub her hand in a circular motion on Dan's back. She was happy he was talking again. "You feeling any better?"
"A little bit. I guess it's going to take awhile to face the fact that me and Cindy aren't together anymore."
"It will, but I'm here for you."
"Thanks, Leia, I really appreciate you saying that." Dan finally backed out of the hug. "I think I'm going to go for a swim in the pool. Do you want to come out there with me?"
"Sure. I'll be down in five minutes. Let me just get my bathing suit on."
"Ok." Dan left to go get changed and get into the pool.
Dan was floating around on his back when Leia came out. She had to keep herself from staring too long at Dan. She's seen him shirtless millions of times, but there was just something about seeing him shirtless now that made her think about him a different way. Oh, no. I will not fall for another band member. I am through with them. Leia stepped into the pool; Dan felt the movement of her getting in, and looked at her.
"I was beginning to wonder what was taking you so long."
"I couldn't find my bathing suit. I forgot I had lended it to Dana."
"What's up with her anyways?"
"I honestly don't know. Her and Ashley are always together or her and Shelli. I do need to spend some time with her though before she leaves for California."
"Why is she going back there?"
"Oh you didn't hear? She got accepted into UCLA."
"Really? That's good."
"Yeah. I'm going to miss her though. Shelli's leaving when she leaves, so I'm going to be the only girl in this house."
"Do you know how many girls would die to be in your spot right now?"
"They don't have to die. I'll switch with them right now. They see you guys on television, and think you are just God or something. I bet you have some of those girls live here for about a week, and they'll take back what they said."
"Why would you switch? Do you not like it here?" By now Dan had stood up, and waded over to Leia. Neither of them realized how close they were to each other.
"Oh, I love it here. It wasn't meant like that. I just meant that it's not as everyone thinks it is."
Dan had become closer to Leia, and Leia subconciously kept stepping back until she was against the pool wall. Dan didn't notice that, and kept coming closer to her. Their faces were inches apart from each other. Leia didn't want this to happen because she didn't want to go through another Jacob situation, but she didn't move as Dan brought his lips closer to hers.
Dan had been wanting this moment to happen for a while now. The only thing that stopped him was Cindy, but now they weren't together anymore. He loves Cindy, and he still wasn't over her just yet, but he really liked Leia a lot. He couldn't believe how Jacob hurt her. He wouldn't ever do anything like that to break Leia's heart. Dan finally decided he'd go for the kiss, and made the move for her lips.

Chapter 16: It's Now or Never:

Dan's face was just inches away from Leia's when Leia put her hand on his bare chest to stop him. Dan looked at her, and waited for what she had to say. He hoped she wasn't having second thoughts.
"Dan," she whispered.
"Yeah?"
"I don't want you to end up being another Jacob. I couldn't handle the pain."
"Leia, I'll never hurt you the way Rich did, and never the way Jacob did. I like you a lot. I'll admit it right now, so if it bothers you then you don't have to date me, but I still have feelings for Cindy. But, I will never ever dump you over her. You're not a rebound girl. Trust me."
"I've always trusted you. You've been there for me through everything."
Leia brought her face up to his and kissed him. It was soft and sweet at first;then, Dan deepened it a little. Leia brought her arms around his neck to make herself more comfortable. Leia told herself many times after her and Jacob's breakup that she wouldn't ever fall for another band member, but there was something about Dan that made her think that he wouldn't do that to her. He was there through everything that her and Jacob went through. Leia pulled away, and smiled at Dan.
"You know I love that smile of yours." He kissed her forehead; then, laid his head on her shoulder.
Leia was about to say something when she heard the patio door swing open. She turned around, and saw Jacob standing there with a hurt look on his face. Leia knew she shouldn't have felt bad, but she did. Dan had looked up and saw him.
"I'm sorry," said Jacob, "I was just looking for my jacket. I thought I might have left it out here."
"It's still in my room," said Leia quietly. "I never gave it back to you that day we went to the movies."
"Oh ok, thanks."
Jacob left just as quickly as he came in. He went up to Leia's room and got his jacket; then, left to go on a little walk of his own. He couldn't believe what he had seen when he went out into the kitchen. He just wasn't ready to see Leia with another guy. He would never forgive himself for what he gave up over something so stupid. As Jacob was walking down the driveway, Dana was pulling into it. She rolled down the window.
"Hey, Jacob, what's up? Why do you look so down?"
"Because I just saw something I really wish I didn't see."
"Oh was Trevor showing everyone why he never gets shower scenes?"
Jacob couldn't help but smile a little, but then he remembered why he was down and the frown came back. Dana saw this and became worried. "Really Jacob what is it?"
"I just saw Leia in the pool with Dan and...."
"And what?"
"They were kissing."
"They were what!" Ashley popped his head out on the other side.
Jacob regretted saying it now. He knows that Ashley hasn't been too approving of the things Leia does anymore. Ever since the night him and Leia broke up, Ashley has been more protective with her. Ashley jumped out of the car and headed around the house to the pool. Dana quickly chased after him with Jacob beside her. Leia and Dan were in the middle of a kiss when Ashley saw them.
"OH MY GOD!!! JUST GO AND SCREW ALL MY FRIENDS, LEIA!!!! WHILE YOU'RE AT IT, I HEARD ERIK'S SINGLE!!!"
Leia turned around to see the three of them. Dan protectively put his arm around her waist. Jacob saw this and walked off. He didn't want to think of them as together. Besides he knew that Ashley was about to have another one of his fits.
"First Rich then Jacob and now Dan???? What the hell is up with that!!!" Ashley yelled at her.
"Ashley, please," Dana said trying to calm him down. She didn't want them getting into another fight. They were getting along now. Plus, she didn't want him and Dan to get into it. She knew what Dan was capable of.
"Oh it figures you're on her side!" Ashley turned to her. Dana jumped back a little.
"Why don't you leave her alone, Ashley?" Leia finally said. She got out of the pool and walked over to Ashley. "You know I'm getting sick and tired of how you think you can rule my life! Just because you're my older brother doesn't mean jack to me!!! If I want to date Dan;then, I'm going to date him. And you have no right to judge me. You're not Mr. Perfect either."
"At least I don't go using my girlfriends for their money."
"What the hell is that supposed to mean!!!!"
"Nothing except that I find it weird that your last two boyfriends and now your new boyfriend were in some sort of job that pays them a lot of money."
"You asshole!" Leia slapped Ashley in his face. "Don't you ever and I mean EVER talk to me again." Leia stormed into the house, and upstairs to her room.
"ASHLEY PARKER ANGEL!!!" Dana screamed at him. She couldn't believe he actually talked to Leia like that. "We're through. I will not have you talking to my best friend like that."
"What! Dana, please..."
"No! I don't care if she's your sister, but she's my best friend first. I don't know what I ever saw in you after the horrible way you've treated her!" Dana stormed past him and ran to Leia's room. "I can't believe I actually like that jerk," Dana said when she closed the door to Leia's room.
"Don't blame yourself. He's fooled me too. I actually thought he was a great brother." Leia sighed and laid down on the bed. Dana went over to the window to see if Dan was going to do anything.
Dan was the last person to get out of the pool. He walked past Ashley, and was about to walk into the house, but he turned around. "I just want to let you know that I care about Leia very much. I never appreciated the way you treated her sometimes. To say what you said just a few minutes ago to her, not only hurt her, but me too. Leia doesn't care about money. She can't help what you said. Ashley, one of these days you're going to regret what you said to her, but she's not going to accept your apology. She's going to treat you like how she treats Jacob from now on. I just hope you're prepared for it." With that, Dan walked into the house and up to his own room to change back into some clothes.

Chapter 17: Is It All?
Dana had gone back to her room after talking with Leia for a while. She laid on her bed, and thought about everything that had happened over the past summer. She thought about Leia, Rich, and Jacob. Then she couldn't help but think about Ashley. She had a crush on him ever since she was 10 and he was 12. She finally had gotten to date him, but now it's all over with. As much as she loved him, she couldn't let him get away with talking to Leia the way he did. She had let him get away with it all the other times, but what he said to her wasn't like him. Dana heard a noise in the hall. She got off her bed, walked over to her door, and opened it. She looked out into the hallway, and saw Ashley sitting on the floor near Leia's door with his back against the wall. He had his head in his hands, and it looked as if he was crying. Dana immediately felt bad for him. He never cried unless it was over someone he truly loved. From the looks of it, he tried to talk to Leia, and she ignored him. Dana, don't you go feeling bad for him! He deserves what he gets from Leia. You heard what he said to her! Dana ignored the voice, and went over to Ashley. She stood in front of him for a few minutes before saying anything.
"You try to talk to her?" she asked quietly.
Ashley looked up at her. "Yeah, but I got the door slammed in my face. I don't know why I say the things I've said to her. Especially that. I feel so bad." Ashley started to choke up again, and put his head in his hands again.
"Don't cry...please." Dana sat next to him and hugged him.
Ashley hugged her tightly back. He felt horrible for everything he did. Not only did he make his sister mad at him, but he also lost his girlfriend in the process. Dana hugging him had cheered him just a little bit.
"And, Dana, I'm sorry about how I snapped at you. I miss you already."
Dana expected he'd say that. "Ashley, it's ok, but...see I think it's just best if we stay friends while I'm in college. I can't be missing you that much, and I love you enough to tell you that."
"Dana...we can make it work please don't."
"Ashley, it won't work. We'll end up like you and Shelli and then you'll end up dumping me and I don't want that."
"Is that why you broke up with me?"
"That's only part of it. That Leia factor is still in there, and just the long distance thing anyways."
"I understand..." He was lying. He wanted to be with her. He loved her so much with all of his heart.
"I'm sorry. I'll let you alone now." Dana got up and went to her room.
Ashley got up and went to his room. He laid on his bed. Yet another exciting day in the house of O-Town. was his last thought before he went into a deep sleep.

Ch 18: Or Are We Just Friends:
"I'll miss you." Leia said as she hugged Dana.
Today was when Dana left for UCLA and Shelli was going back home to Redding. Leia was going to miss them both dearly.
"I'll miss you too. I'll write once a week, and I'll call everyday," Dana replied as she tried not to cry. She finished hugging Leia and went up to Ashley. She hugged him briefly. Things weren't the same between them since that night a couple weeks ago. Maybe if they get some space from each other, everything will be allright. Dana took one last look at everyone and then left.
Leia went back into the house and went to her room to hide the fact she was crying. She was the only girl in the house now. She had nobody to giggle with and to gossip with. She was going to miss Dana alot. Her and Dan have been doing good. She still wasn't talking with Ashley, but she felt she would have to sooner or later. As for Jacob, things were the same as they have been for the past 3 months. Neither of them talked to each other at all. Leia was trying to stop crying when there was a knock at the door. Expecting it to be Dan she told him to come in. When she looked up, she was shocked to see Jacob standing there.
"Look, I'm sure you're still mad at me, but I heard you crying and I figured you'd need these." Jacob handed her a box of tissues.
"Thank you." Lynzi took them. Jacob turned around to leave, but Leia knew they had to talk sooner or later. "J."
Jacob turned around. "Yeah?"
"I think it's time we talked."
"Ok...what about?" He sat on the bed.
"Well, I can't stay mad at you over what happened forever. I'm sure you had your reasons for not telling me about how you still felt for Brooke. I shouldn't let that get in way of us still being friends. I mean we were so close, and now for the past three months, I've said nothing to you. I just ignored you and acted as if I didn't see you when you walked into the same room as me. I miss us...I mean as friends." Leia looked at him waiting for a reaction.
"So, you want to be friends again?"
"Yeah. I've missed you." Leia hugged him.
"I've missed you too." Jacob hugged her back and just kept a hold of her. He remember holding her like that when they were dating. Whoa, Jacob, don't get that far ahead of yourself. Remember she's with Dan now.
"Ok, so now that's settled...what's been new? Got any girlfriends or anyone in mind?"
"No."
"What about Brooke?"
"I got over it. I don't know what I was thinking when I wanted to go back out with her."
"Oh." Leia thought back to all the good times her and Jacob had when they were together. She didn't know why she was doing that either, she loved Dan to death. She couldn't be happier with him, but sometimes when she was with she'd compare him to Jacob. She couldn't help it. Her and Jacob just had something, and she didn't have that with Dan. She felt bad about it too, but her and Jacob are over now so she couldn't do anything about it.
"I'm glad we're finally talking again."
"So am I. Well, you want to go play a game of Tony Hawk?"
Jacob laughed. "Sure but you know I'm going to beat you."
"Whatever I've been practicing."
Leia and Jacob walked downstairs to the living room, and started to play the Sony. All it took was a few minutes, and Leia already had beat Jacob.
"Ha! And what!" Leia cried out victoriously.
"That's not fair. You didn't even give me a chance to hit ya."
"Cuz you can't handle this jelly!" Leia started laughing.
"I don't know I thought I handled it pretty well before."
"Puh leeze. Don't get all sore just cuz I beat yo' ass!"
"Oh really?"
Jacob tackled her to the floor, and started tickling her. Leia begged for him to get off her when suddenly he stopped and looked in her eyes. Leia looked back, and felt that urge to kiss him. She ignored it because she wasn't going to do that to Dan. Jacob wanted to kiss her, but he knew he couldn't do that. This was not only his best friend, but his best friend's girlfriend. The door opened, and Jacob jumped off her from surprise. Leia just laid there realizing what almost happened.
"Hey guys," Trevor and Erik walked in when they saw Leia on the floor and Jacob trying to act innocent.
"Ok," said Trevor, "what was going on?"
"Nothing," answered both Leia and Jacob.
"Yeah, sure, and Trevor really is dating Britney Spears," joked Erik. "Why were you two on the floor? Or do we even wanna know?"
"Shut up!" Leia said. "Jacob here just got mad because I beat him, so we started play wrestling then you two came in."
"So that's what they call it now," commented Trevor.
"I'm telling you the truth."
"We're just playing. Relax. Just be glad we weren't Dan because he would have had cows!"
"I know this."
"Ok, Ms. Attitude."
Trevor and Erik went off into the kitchen to grab something to eat. Leia just looked over at Jacob, and just couldn't believe it. She knew she was falling for him again, but she wasn't going to let that happen. Maybe finally forgiving him wasn't such a good idea, but what could she do now?
