CHAPTER 1:
"So guys, what do you want to do tonight?" Stephanie asked Tara and Mindy as
they drove down the street in her new silver Mustang.
"MALL!!" They all screamed in unison.
When they went into the mall, they headed for their favorite store Wet Seal.
As they walked closer, Stephanie's ex-boyfriend Karl called her name. Him
and Justin walked closer as Tara and Mindy continued walking into the store.
"Hey, What's up?" He said "We haven't chilled in a long time, do you guys
wanna go see a movie with me and Justin since were all here?"
"O.K... Sounds like fun, I want to see the new movie O-Town is going to be
in... But let me check with the others first"
"Oh Geez, O-Town" Justin said breaking into the conversation
Justin was Stephanie's old crush, but she knew she would always have
feelings for him. They had grown so close since high school, and knew
everything about each other.
"Oh shut up Justin... You know you want to go and see those sexy boys." She
smiled at him and pulled him into the store to get the other girls as Karl
bought the tickets.
"I got five tickets for the O-Town movie thing" Karl said walking in the
store with a face of fake enthusiasm. "But it starts in ten minutes so we
gotta hurry up."
"OK Chill Out!!" Mindy said as she checked out a cute new bathing suit to
wear to Hawaii the following month.
Mindy was a All-American cheerleader. She had gotten a bid to Hawaii to
perform in the Pro-Bowl from the squad her and Stephanie had cheered on
together for three years. Mindy was taking Stephanie with her though because
they both wanted to see what it was like.
Karl rolled his eyes and walked away smiling saying "O.K.... But who's got
the tickets?"
All of them ran after him thinking he would actually leave them after he
spent all that money on the tickets.

CHAPTER 2:
They all walked into the movie as the previews were playing and Tara said
"This movie theater is pretty empty... Figures, this gay movie is the one
Stephanie would want to see."
"Whatever, you know you don't care cuz you know they are sexy" she said
laughing
"Um... Tara, you might not want to say anything about her O-Town. She gets
very protective, especially over Jacob." Justin said trying to help Tara
out.
"SHUT UP!!" Mindy and Karl said as Mindy continued "Lets just watch the
movie and not say anything till its over"
"Fine" They all agreed, wide-eyed at the thought of Mindy getting pissed
over something that tiny and decided not to mess with her for the rest of
the night so they all sat down and watched the movie.
As the movie was playing, Karl whispered into Stephanie's ear "I've been
thinking a lot about us lately"
"Oh?" Stephanie said sounding surprised.
"Yeah, I don't like the way things have been between us and I don't think we
should keep going this way."
"What way?" She said confused and still trying to watch the movie at the
same time.
"Being awkward and not talking and hanging out like we used to."
That caught her attention... The fact of him noticing things had changed and
him wanting them to be the same meant a lot to her.
"Do you feel the same way?" He asked with a little bit of a scared tone I
his voice, afraid of what she would say.
She had always wanted things to be the same again but she hadn't said
anything to anyone about it.
"Yes" she replied looking into his crystal blue eyes that she had noticed
ever since the moment she saw him.
They leaned in for a kiss and from that moment...the movie flew by and she
couldn't believe they were back together again. Justin needed to be home
right after the movie because he had to get up early the next morning to
visit his grandparents in Florida. Stephanie took him home and Karl dropped
Mindy off at her house and took Tara with him to keep him company on the way
back to Justin's house where he and Tara would meet Stephanie.
In the car, Steph's mid-length reddish brown hair blew out the window.
Justin looked at her and said:
"Steph... Your one of my best friends and I don't want things to change
after this year when I graduate and leave school."
"Aww, Justin your so sweet. I promise things wont change and we will keep
in touch while your in college. I'm gonna be there in a year anyways and
you can act like my big brother again like in high school"
Justin laughed "yea, your right. I'm really happy that you and Karl are
back together.. You seem to be good for each other."
"Do you think he has changed??" She asked sounding a bit worried.
"I think so. The time apart could have only done him good and make him
realize what he was missing."
"Yeah but you know everything we went through and how hard it was for me."
She said waiting for him to approve of her and seeing if he thought she was
making the same mistake again.
"I know, but it can only get better." He smiled and she knew he thought she
should give him another shot.
*Honk-Honk*
"Speak of the Devil" they both started laughing and Karl and Tara pulled up
next to them.
"What's so funny?" He asked
"Oh, Nothing" they both said and Justin got out of the car. He went around
to the drivers side where Steph got out and gave him a hug. "I'll give you a
call tomorrow night" he said. "C-ya Karl, bye Tara"
"See ya Justin" they said
"Hey, I got an idea... There's a carnival down the street and it just
started. We could go there and hang out." Tara suggested.
"Good idea, I'm OK with it... What about you sweetie?"
"I don't care, that's fine" Karl said "Lets go then"
*Karls cell phone rings*
~hey karl
what's up Mark?
~nothing, what are you doing?
~not much... Just chillen with Steph and Tara gettin ready to go to the
carnival. You wanna come?
~yea, sounds like fun.. But why are you hangin out with them?
~I'm back together with Steph and Taras just here (laughs and looks at Tara
smiling)
But I'll be there in a few minutes to come pick you up
~k, c-ya then
*hangs up*
"Ok, well were going to get Mark and chill with him tonight."
"K.. Lets go!" Steph said.
They went and picked up Mark then went to the carnival. They hung out the
whole night and Stephanie and Tara went home around 3:00 AM about 3 hours
after the carnival ended.
~~The Next Day~~
*phone rings*
~hello?
~hey Steph
what's up Mindyyyyyyy???
~nothing, what's up with you?
~nothin... You wanna go to the mall and go shopping for Hawaii?
~OK
~k.. I'll be at your house in 10 minutes, so be ready
~okie dokie- see ya then.. Bye bye
*hangs up*
As the two of them shopped for clothes and make-up and stuff, they saw a
sign that O-Town was going to be in Hawaii recording their new song "Take me
Under"
^^ yeah right, like I would actually see them in Hawaii.. What are the
chances of the happening and all of us being in one place at the same time?
^^ she thought to herself.

Chapter 3: Hawaii!! (arrival)
The month after that had gone by so quickly and Steph's relationship with
Karl had grown so much. She saw that he had grown from an immature boy to a
man who wasn't in a relationship only for the sex, and he HAD changed!
Karl came to Steph's house with Tara to pick up her and Mindy and take them
to the airport. When they got there, Tara and Stephanie said bye and Steph
reminded Tara that she was going to come to Hawaii to meet them after her
mom got out of the hospital from her back injury. Tara smiled and said
"aloha!" Which means Hello and Good-bye in Hawaiian. They hugged and Steph
walked over to Karl. He looked at her and said "I don't want you to go"
Steph couldn't say anything except "I love you"
He looked at her, said it back and they stayed in each others arms until her
flight was called... They all said their final good-byes and Karl kissed
Steph one final time and reminded her how much he loved her.

As soon as Mindy and Stephanie checked into the hotel, they went to see what
was around. They went down the street to the local hut which was as close
to a McDonalds as they could get. As they walked in, they got in line
behind a seemingly normal guy. He was a good average height, wore baggy
jeans and had a tank-top on just like most of the guys back home would. He
had on a red bandanna and sunglasses which covered his eyes. He ordered his
food and turned around to wait with his back facing the counter. He took
off his glasses and Steph and Mindy instantly locked eyes with him.
Steph giggled and said to Mindy "look... Its Jacob Underwood."
He turned back around to get his food and Steph looked at Mindy, silently
jumping up and down. When he turned back around, she stopped as if
everything was normal. She casually said "hi". He replied with "hey there"
and went to sit down at a table. When the girls got their food, he called
them over to invite them to eat at his table.
They sat down and Jacob started a conversation. "So, where are you two
from?"
Stephanie quickly answered "Maryland, and your from California"
Jacob laughed "yeah, I'm guessing your a fan"
"Oh god is she... She's not just a fan, she's like your biggest fan" Mindy
said
"She's right, I can hardly believe I'm sitting her with Jacob Underwood"
"Well thank you!" He said
"So where's the rest of the guys?" Steph asked trying to bring up something
else besides how big a fan she was because she didn't want to make it seem
like a big deal knowing Jake didn't like it that much.
"I don't know, probably at the hotel... It was a long flight"
"Yea it was.. Where are you staying?" Mindy asked
"Were staying at the Motel 6 down the street, we didn't think we would get
as many fans at a littler hotel instead of a big fancy one"
"No way" Steph exclaimed "That's the one we're staying at!!!!!!!"
"Kool" he gave Steph his cell phone number "Gimme a call when you get back
to your room, and you two ladies can get together with me and the guys
tonight if your not busy"
"Ok" they said
"Well were gonna go, so we will call you soon" Stephanie said.
As soon as they got out to the car Stephanie screamed "AHHHH!!! I cant
believe what just happened!!"
"I know, me neither, you have always dreamed about meeting him" she said
happy for Stephanie and the fact that she just saw a famous singer that they
both adored.
"... And you know what the best part was?... He gave ME his personal cell
PHONE NUMBER" She said excitedly.
From her being in so many O-Town groups, going to so many shows and watching
"Making The Band", she knew that he dosnt do that very often.

Chapter 4:
The two girls got into the car and Stephaie turned the key
"... Hey.. This can't be good" she said getting mad because something was
wrong with the rental car and they hadn't even had it for 2 hours.
"Yeah and it had to happen now when were supposed to go out tonight"
Stephanie kept trying and trying, but nothing happened. Just the same old
grinding noise came from the engine. Jacob walked out of the hut and looked
surprised...
"You guys are still here?" He asked
"YESSS" Mindy said grinding her teeth in frustration
Jacob inspected the car, looked at the two girls and said "Well it looks
like whoever used the car last forgot to fill up the tank with gas before
they returned it."
"I can't believe this" Stephanie screamed wondering how a perfect day could
all of a sudden go so wrong.
"I'll call my limo and give you guys a ride to the hotel."
"No Jacob, that's too much trouble" Mindy said
"Too much trouble?... I'm staying at the same hotel, it's not like it will
be out of the way or anything" He said laughing.
When Jacob got off the phone, he called a tow truck to come get the rental
car.
"The truck will take it back to the place and when we go out tonight, we
will all go and help you pick out a new car." Jake said hanging up the
phone.
"Thanks so much Jake. I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't met
you" Stephanie said putting her arm on his shoulder.
"Oh, don't mention it"
While they were waiting for the limo, Jacob started a conversation.
"So, what brings you guys down here?"
"Mindy is going to be one of the dancers in the pro-bowl" Stephanie answered
excitedly.
"Really?!?!...Since the coordinators found out we were going to be here
recording 'Take Me Under', they asked us to sing in the half time."
"That's awesome!" Steph said because she hadn't seen the group perform since
she had gone to the '102.7 Birthday Blowout' in June. A week before that, it
just so happened that Jacob hurt his back and couldn't make it. Stephanie
was upset, but had fun just the same understanding that he had to get
better.
"Sometime next week we are doing interviews and picking a replacement
back-up dancer because one of the girls just broke her leg...kinda hard to
dance without it" Jake said jokingly.
Mindy laughed. "Steph...you should go tryout that way we could both be in
the pro-bowl."
"Yeah right, I can't dance good enough to perform with O-Town"
"Well actually, that's not a bad idea" Jacob agreed "You could show us your
stuff tonight and if the other guys like ya, we can talk to Lou about it."
"Ummm...Ummm...ssure" Stephanie said, afraid of embarrassing herself infront
of the guys.
"Great!" Jacob said
Finally, the limo came and the three of them went back to the hotel.
"O.K. Call me when your ready" Jake said
"Okie dokie" the two girls said getting out of the limo "See ya soon"
The girls got ready in the nicest clothes they had with them, and called
Jacob as soon as they were done not wanting to waste any time.

Chapter 5:
"Hello?" Jacob said putting a red volcom shirt over his head.
"Hey Jacob, Were ready when you are" Stephanie said
"K...give me a minute and I will be there with the guys to pick you up"
About ten minutes later, a limo pulled up and all the guys got out. They all
came to the door and Jacob introduced everyone. Stephanie and Mindy got to
know all of the guys and all the guys got to know the girls. Jacob finally
mentioned that Stephanie was going to dance for them and Mindy danced with
her so she wouldn't be the only one dancing.
"Wow" Ashley said.
~*About 5 minutes later*~
"Well, we all talked and we think you would be a great dancer to have on
stage with us." Trevor said.
"Unfortunately, we need one more person" Erik said spoiling the moment for
the group.
"I have the perfect solution. My friend Tara is coming in a few weeks right
before the pro-bowl, and she dances great. I know you guys would like her."
Stephanie suggested.
"That's great!" Dan said with a grateful look on his face. "That means we
don't have to go through anymore of this auditioning crap!"
Everyone started laughing then Dan said "now... Let's get out of here, go
get the car, and we can go CLUBBIN'!! Woo hoo!!"
When they got to the rental place, Stephanie took Mindy and looked for a car
right away. Jacob went to the office and explained everything.
Unfortunately, the car she had before couldn't cover the cost of her getting
the new car she wanted... A blue eclipse. Jacob told her and said he would
pay the difference for it.
"Absolutely not!!" Stephanie said "That's crazy, and its just...not right"
He looked at her and said "well, I'm getting a car anyway. I hate driving in
a limo all the time. Don't get me wrong, it's nice and everything, but
sometimes I just want to drive, not think about money, and just relax. I
insist on it"
Before Stephanie could get another word out, Jacob already had the clerk
pull the car around.
"Thanks a lot Jake. What kind of car are you getting?"
"An electric blue mustang convertible." He said with a huge grin on his
face.
"No way!! I have one of those in silver at home." Stephanie exclaimed.
"That's awesome. Well whadda ya say we get out of here and get dancin'?" He
said
When they got to the club, the strobe lights and neon lights were easily
visible from outside the door.
"Hell yeah!" Jacob said grabbing Stephanie's hand and began dancing in as he
walked through the door. Trevor took Mindys arm, looked at her and asked
"wanna be my date for tonight?" Mindy smiled and replied with a simple
"sure!" All the guys started dancing.
"Wanna go get a drink?" Erik asked Stephanie
"Oh yea, thanks"
The two of them walked to the bar and ordered waters. Not long after, Ashley
joined them. After about five minutes of sitting, "Liquid Dreams" came on.
Everyone on the place started cheering and all of them were back out on the
floor. The song ended and after that the night quickly ended.
